A Christian student expelled from England's Sheffield University because he quoted the Bible's stance on homosexuality in a Facebook post supportive of controversial Kentucky clerk Kim Davis has lost his appeal.
Felix Ngole, a 38-year-old in his second year of study for a master's degree in social work at the University of Sheffield in South Yorkshire was told that he is no longer a student at the university after a committee ruled he "may have caused offense to some individuals" by issuing a Facebook post last September quoting Leviticus on the Bible's condemnation of homosexuality.

This is what happens to a country with no equivalent to the first amendment. We are almost there, but still have hope, but only if we fight to protect what little we have left.
The First Amendment is neutralized by a corrupt, totalitarian Supreme Court.
It’s restored by the Second Amendment.
Should have quoted the koran. He would have been heiled a hero.
When the captain and the court officers had brought the apostles in and made them stand before the Sanhedrin,
the high priest questioned them, We gave you strict orders, did we not, to stop teaching in that name?
Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and want to bring this mans blood upon us. But Peter and the apostles said in reply, We must obey God rather than men. The God of our ancestors raised Jesus,
though you had him killed by hanging him on a tree.
God exalted him at his right hand as leader and savior
to grant Israel repentance and forgiveness of sins.
We are witnesses of these things,
as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
The Sanhedrin ordered the apostles
to stop speaking in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them. So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin,
rejoicing that they had been found worthy
to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name. - Acts 5:27-32
Tyranny.
Fudge is thicker than water.
He may have caused offense? Maybe someone needed to be offended.
With Western Civilization attacking everything that built its former greatness, and now to the point of persecuting Christians for not bowing down and submitting to the cultural-marxist dictates of worshipping homosex, it’s going to get exactly what it deserves when the enslaving chains of Islam moves in.
Think of how Britain has been a blessing to the world, especially the English-speaking Christian world: with the King James Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, deep and stirring hymnody, servants of God such as Wesley and Newman, Chesterton and Muggeridge. And now Britain apparently holds buggery in higher regard tHan all of that; than even God Himself. This is more than tragic.
Maybe if Christianity were more of a way of living from minute to minute, and less of an occasional sport, it would have a greater effect. As it is, I see a cowering church going “woe is us.” And it’s correct: woe is it. It’s put a hat on its naked body and deemed itself ready to trek in Antarctica.
Paul might have wished his sufferings were that small.
I used to be easily offended.
Now I realize people are offended if they want - or choose to be.
wish I could make others stuck in “victim mode” realize the issue is largely with themselves.
A Christianity that can’t manage to show the grace of God nohow, nowhere, isn’t going to be able to get those who think their only defense is to be evil, to rethink.
God will be the final judge.
no justice.
Random aside: it may just be me but it almost seems that by the time Paul had been arrested in Jerusalem that he’d come to find a bit of dark humor from his being a Roman citizen in such circumstances, given the way he waited till the last moment when they were stretching him out before he asked them if it was lawful for them to whip him. At any rate, it sure seems like the soldiers’ reaction was along the lines of “Hot potato!!!” as they sought to be doing anything but laying hands on him.
OK, I know MP was spoofing Aussies, but it's still funny.
Oh for crying out loud! What are these little would be jack boots at the University of Sheffield waiting for? Let the mass bible burnings begin and have done with all of this pretense about free speech and individual rights of consciences.
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
One of the words you don't want to hear God say is "woe'... when it refers to you. Now the good news is that we actually know how this story ends.
