Cruz: Trump Needs To Fire Paul Manafort And Roger Stone Now, Using "Alinsky" Tactics (video)
RCP ^ | Tim Hains

Posted on 04/13/2016 3:48:09 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

Ted Cruz angrily orders Donald Trump to fire Paul Manafort and Roger Stone on Dana Loesch's show on The Blaze.

TED CRUZ: I don't know if the next thing we're going to see is voters or delegates waking up with horses heads in their beds.

This doesn't belong in the elctoral process. And I think Donald needs to renounce this incitement of violence, he needs to stop asking his supporters at rallies to punch people in the face. And he needs to fire the people responsible.

Well said. That sums up my feelings about Ted Cruz very nicely.

Another thing that really bugs me is when he says Trump is afraid to debate him or afraid of Megan Kelly. Nobody in their right mind believes there is much that Trump is afraid of, least of all those two lightweights.

Repeating over and over again that Trump is afraid of this or that - it just makes Cruz look silly and clueless if you ask me. More than that, it adds to the overall impression that he will say just about anything at all, no matter how dishonest.

“Does Cruz ever talk about anything other than Trump these days?”

No. He’s been hanging out with Beck too much. Had to run to town so I put the radio on talk FM. In the maybe 10 min. I listened, Beck was going on about how he and his BFF Cruz were hanging out at Beck’s house so they could have some special time together. I’m beginning to think Beck is Cruz’s Reggie Love. He also spent time making excuses for Cruz attending the ‘Kill the Gays’ Rally.

Nothing more Alinsky/Obama than accusing your opponent of doing what you are doing.

___________________________________________________

Yes you are correct Trump has been doing this for months remember though Trump has been a dem until the age of 63, so it is his instinct to play by lefties rules politics of personal destruction, Carson, Fiorina, Bush, Rubio.

It seems to make Trump crazy that the same tactics haven’t destroyed Cruz yet.

We’ve had enough debates. To schedule another debate now would be to dangle false hope in front of Cruz like one of those fake rabbits in a dog race. It would delay him from reaching the conclusion he should have reached long ago; that he has lost.

Cruz won’t quit until he is convinced he has lost. I don’t know what it will take to convince him - hopefully NY, etc. but I have my doubts. And as long as Cruz keeps campaigning, he will keep attacking Trump, which means telling lies about him. As long as Cruz keeps lying about Trump, Trump will keep calling Cruz a liar, and this name calling back and forth will continue. Trump has no choice - he has to keep twisting Cruz’s arm until Cruz says “uncle”.

I guess it’s possible that after a series of crushing wins in the eastern states, Trump can try just ignoring Cruz and maybe the press will lose interest, but they seem determined to keep his campaign hopes alive with this BS about his incredible ‘ground game’ and clever delegate craft. It’s all a crock - Trump is kicking Cruz’s ass and they keep telling Cruz he’s winning, and he believes them!

I wish Cruz would just throw in the towel sooner rather than later, so we can all focus on the real prize.

I’m ready to call him Jan Brady Cruz.
Its always:
“Donald, Donald, Donald!”

Cruzaders are very defensive and loyal to Ted....no doubt.

But that loyalty was earned.

As for name calling....well Don-Don isn't a saint.

All part of the discourse in this fantastic election cycle.

I'm holding out for the tar and feathers part of it. Almost ready too. Though I am having trouble completing my batch.

Tar isn't the problem...there is plenty of it available...it's the damned feathers. That My Pillow guy has scoffed up all the feathers. Oh every now and then a hawk will leave me a few feathers here and there. But it simply isn't enough.

I might have to buy 10 or 12 of those stupid pillows just to be ready.

As for insiders....Ted never gave one hundred grand to the Clinton foundation.

Just saying....

Jedi.

No, but Ted and Kasich recieved $200,000.00 from a Soros group. And Ted is funded by the GOPe 4 biggest donors, of 6.

Best election ever!!!!

Did Ted ever give to a liberal group or candidate?
Did Ted ever give to the Gang of 8?
Did he ever give to Chuckie Schumer?

You get the point.

To the best of my knowledge it was only John Kossack that got money from Soros.

His father was a mailman.
John Kerry served in Vietnam.
Did you know Trumps son-in-law was Jewish?
And also gave a hundred grand to her Grand Malignence?

heh.

Jedi.

-—Cruz is using Obama/Alinsky tactics. -—

Well, you should be very pleased that Ted is showing Trump the ropes on Alinsky tactics, because he will need to be prepared for Hillary throwing all 10 alinsky points at him...

That is if Trump can find the time between posting on Twitter...

“...he’s handed Cruz his ass in what 10 debates so far”

I believe it was maybe 16 debates. When #17 was schedule, he said, “No more!”

Hillary hasn’t got it wrapped up yet. Her Superdelegates can still change their minds. That’s what they did for Obama. They had pledged originally to Hillary, and then they defected to Obama.

People think Hillary’s email investigation is the wild card. Her health may turn out to be a bigger issue. She is known to get blinding, incapacitating headaches that last for hours. What is the cause? There has to be one. So far it’s been kept under wraps, but more info will come out. It won’t be good, whatever it is.

If she somehow makes it, Trump will be fine. Just ask Carly Fiorina, who at one time was the surging media darling. As he did for Fiorina, Trump has a little something for Hillary:

Hillary will not be denied a second time...

Bernie isn't a young black exciting, well spoken, good looking political noob like Obama...

I fully expect Clinton to make Bernie an Godfather like offer he can't refuse...the VP slot...

How quickly people forget the Clinton tactics..

Political triangulation...

It's an art form to them...

Hillary could be in a coma (wait..she might be already) and never utter the word "Trump" and still her sycophants in the media and surrogates on the radio and TV median will shred Trump daily...

Trump better have a sophisticated ground attack, that means spending money, rather than his current air attack, bullying his opponents, rallies and whining to the media, to beat Clinton...

The Clintons have been doing this a LOOONG time and Trump better be prepared to go scorched earth on her, because she will burn him to the ground as fast as she can..

‘How quickly people forget the Clinton tactics..’

Perhaps you haven’t seen Bill Clinton lately? He sits on the stage with his mouth gaping open, staring at nothing in particular. He’s more of a spectacle than a force.

As someone with sharp writing skills put it, the finely tuned Clinton Ferrari of yesteryear has become a spluttering jalopy. Every year that passes weakens the vaunted Clinton machine. Political power comes and goes. For the Clintons, the zenith of their political power has long gone.

Trump has proven himself able to bypass the media. Each of his 7.4 million [last I checked; it may be more, now] Twitter followers has friends and family. The friends and family also have social and familial connections. If it weren’t so, Trump would be long gone. Remember FL? The TV and radio ads were wall to wall Trump-hate. Yet he handily won every county. Trump is grassroots—and the grassroots are fed up.

Not going to disagree a lot with your statement...

The Clinton criminal machine is still very dangerous...

They can rehab Bill enough for him to make a difference...

A couple of big breasted blonde hotties can get him going...

My feeling is Clintons are sandbagging to a degree knowing their political power is waning and keeping their power dry until after the conventions...

I certainly hope Trump does not underestimate her...

‘They can rehab Bill enough for him to make a difference...’

I wonder. Hillary is struggling mightily with the black vote. So what does Slick do? He picks a fight with BLM. Now to conservatives this might be appealing. But to the voters Hillary needs to beat Bernie, it is akin to sacrilege. Dem candidates do not challenge the moral superiority of the radically leftist, flagrantly militaristic Trayvon Martin army; they cower and kowtow before it.

Maybe back in B. Clinton’s Sister Souljah days there were enough sane Dems to rally around such a rebuke. Those days are gone. Al Sharpton et al pounced right on Bill’s comment and berated him. Just what Hillary needed...not.

Cruz is honestly a hot mess right now.

He should just try focusing on his own agenda - we all know what it is, it’s what the GOPe has been peddling for decades - and stop making up wild stories about Trump.

This makes him look weak, and small. Nothing inspiring about him at this point. Pity

Well if that’s what he’s attempting to do, he’s failing miserably at it.

There needs to be an element of truth and sincerety in order to pull this off. Cruz lacks both.
