Pittsburgh, PA
Wednesday, April 13, 2016: LIVE Stream of the Donald Trump for President Rally in Pittsburgh, PA at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center beginning at 7:00 PM EDT.
Pittsburgh is a city in western Pennsylvania at the junction of 3 rivers. Its Gilded Age sites, including the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, speak to its history as an early-20th-century industrial capital. In the North Shore neighborhood are the modern Andy Warhol Museum, Heinz Field football stadium and PNC Park baseball stadium. Population: 305,841

I truly hope he returns to New York. I don't think people outside of New York realized how devastated the state is, job wise. Pittsburgh, PA is no better.
Oh, one more thing. Please donate to our forum here. It's the one place these days where you know what to expect in a good way. Can't imagine a Trump Rally, and I hope there will be many many to go, without my Freeper Friends, and that means all of them.
No better than what?
No better off. They’ve suffered probably more than anyone.
Trump is doing what he should have been, and what Truman did. He’s going to rallies, and he’s talking about the place hes speaking at.
Pittsburgh has a healthy, diverse economy and is a vibrant city.
Donald needs to learn the local language:
“I want to thank yinz for coming out”
“We’re going to make America great again n’at”
“Ted Cruz is a jagoff”
Seriously?
Looks like an all in one muffin pie.
FYI, ATI just built a huge brand new steel mill north of the city. Supposedly it's state of art.
Seriously! You read my mind...but may I add (Nikos if you know peeps who travel w/Trump) somebody get him a Terrible Towel. It’s like our yinzer “secret handshake.”
And for the record, Ted Cruz IS a jag off.
I don’t, but he needs to do more of that. The other candidates force it. With Trump, he’s one of us, and it comes naturally. You see it every night. Everytime he says, “get em out!” he’s speaking to us.
HEY, MR. TRUMP, HOW ABOUT FLYING IN MIKE DITKA, AND SOME OF THE HALL OF FAMERS FROM ALL SPORTS TO BE ON STAGE WITH YOU?
Ps, there are TWO events today in the Burgh. First one is at 5:30p at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in the Oakland section of the city. It’s a beautiful hall. Sits way back from Fifth Avenue beyond a YUGE grassy expanse. Trouble is, it borders on University of Pittsburgh Campus (close to CMU, Carlow and Chatham colleges).
When he leaves Soldiers and Sailors (about 6:30ish) he has to get to the Convention Center for 7p (and did I mention there are two sporting events—NHL playoff game, Penguins v Rangers and a Pirate baseball game).
Is he helicoptering in?
I’m wondering about the wisdom of choosing those sites, especially given the proximity of the two sporting events (as well as the University). I don’t think this will be exactly Chicago redux, since Pittsburgh is by no means Chicago, but there still will be protests.
If he had asked me (ha!) I would have recommended somewhere in Washington County, like Consol Field, though I imagine they were concerned about venue size.
Oh Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
Can you send that over with one of the Bloody Mary’s you posted the other day (you were right, never got mine - stews drank it :-(
Pittsburgh is not at the junction of 3 rivers. It is where 2 rivers join to form a third.
And I don’t know who “Donovan Lawrence” is, but our convention center is named after former mayor David L Lawrence.
Pretty good accuracy for a Trump article.
Mornin’ PM
I think I read that he was doing a Town Hall tonight with Hannity - maybe the first event?
Yes, the 5:30 event at Soldiers and Sailors is being taped for Hannity.
