I truly hope he returns to New York. I don't think people outside of New York realized how devastated the state is, job wise. Pittsburgh, PA is no better.
Oh, one more thing. Please donate to our forum here. It's the one place these days where you know what to expect in a good way. Can't imagine a Trump Rally, and I hope there will be many many to go, without my Freeper Friends, and that means all of them.
No better than what?
Donald needs to learn the local language:
“I want to thank yinz for coming out”
“We’re going to make America great again n’at”
“Ted Cruz is a jagoff”
Pittsburgh is not at the junction of 3 rivers. It is where 2 rivers join to form a third.
And I don’t know who “Donovan Lawrence” is, but our convention center is named after former mayor David L Lawrence.
Pretty good accuracy for a Trump article.
I love traveling to Pittsburgh. Reminds me of my hometown St. Louis but Pittsburgh has a much nicer downtown, more scenic and its interesting to drive the streets.

Trump needs to get to Binghamton in the next week. It’s right on the PA border. Kills two birds with one stone by going there.
The same time the Penguins are playing a home playoff game.
Traffic downtown should be loads of fun!
Thanks for the ping to a new thread. I’ll be working late this eve, will catch up late. Have a great day.
Its going to be a YUGE P.I.A. getting around PGH tonight. Pirates, Pens, and Trumps rally? I’m leaving work early today and VPN’ing back into the office.
Here’s a Vine? or short video of the scene outside of Soldiers and Sailors in advance of the Trump rally.

Good afternoon nikos. Good afternoon everyone.
A bit of personal trivia regarding Pittsburgh... back in 1984, I and my teammates were going to parachute into the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team’s home opener at the beginning of April.
The veterans of our team went to the airport to use a single engine airplane to make a landing into the stadium at home plate at a precise moment.
The rest of us that were not jumping that day were tasked with presenting medals to local athletes that represented the greater Pittsburgh area in the upcoming Olympics in Sarajevo. We also went down onto the field near home plate. The weather proved fickle, in that the winds were too high for the safety limitations we used- topping off at 30 mph, and the jump portion of our mission was canceled. Those of us not jumping that day, greeted the athletes on the field prior to the game, and presented the medals as planned.
One of my jobs earlier in the day, was to access the roof of Three Rivers Stadium, in order to use an anemometer to gauge the wind speed. The view on top of the stadium was spectacular. I’ve got some great photos of the day, thanks to one of our Public Affairs specialists tagging along to record the event for posterity and to capture material for future marketing/recruiting purposes.
One final thought- I presented a medal to an aspiring Olympic female shot putter- needless to say... she towered over me like a linebacker for the hometown favorite Pittsburgh Steelers.

If i had dentures I wouldnt even try to bite off a chunk of it.
Syracuse is on Saturday. I will try to be there. I almost went to the one in Albany, but I would have wanted to stay overnight and ALL the hotels were booked solid. I only found two rooms left open - at a B&B, but it would have been uncomfortable for me. So - hells yes, I can do Syracuse on Sat. It’s half the distance!
Great Trump rally in PIttsburgh tonight....crowd was tremendous and vocal!!
