Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly says six state leaders are ousting her from the Eagle Forum organization she founded because of her support of Donald Trump, and five of them support Sen. Ted Cruz.
Schlafly released a statement Monday claiming the group is trying to take over the organization by controlling bank accounts, firing employees and hiring their own.
“I think it’s an attempt to vote me out,” Schlafly told the conservative World Net Daily. “It’s disloyal, and it’s terribly shocking, and I’m completely depressed about it.”
Among those Schlafly called out by name Monday was Cathie Adams, who served as Texas Eagle Forum president for the last 23 years.

Most likely some donors called and opined that the organization was moving down the wrong path, one they might not be able to support.
Keeping open borders and “free” trade is more important than anything.... The political class has sold this nation out, and is actively its enemy.

Cruz isn’t conservative either. Sure, he talks a good talk, but, his actions speak louder than his words. He is and always has been in the Bush family - deny it all you want, but, truth is truth. No true conservative would sit by and allow voters to be disenfranchised, and then rub their noses in it. Wake up you fool!

Don't bother - I tried that last week and was roundly ignored by TPTB. It appears that the current state of affairs suits them just fine as it devolves to near DU status. I think the quarterly fund drive might go over 90 days this round.

The thing is before Trump most people o this board were Cruz supporter ....he had the same problems then but we didn't face it back then because he seemed like the only choice

A Cruzlim the other night was calling Matt Drudge, a Jew, an "anti-semite," after discovering that Ted Cruz was now denouncing him. Cruzers are not viciously attacking Phyllis Schlafly and declaring that she deserved to be purged. I've even had Cruzers declare they want to physically assault me. And this is all after Cruzers on this forum have called for the mass zotting of Trump supporters. ruzer and alleged lover Amanda Carpenter has a blacklist of Trump supporters she is building so she can go after their careers and purge them.
There is a disturbing pattern going on which makes "Cruzlim" or "Tediban" appropriate titles.
