All Colorado Republicans [registered more than a month] could vote in precinct caucuses, which chose delegates to congressional and state conventions, who voted for national delegates. Thats my (unabbreviated) Tweet summarizing the way that Colorado Republicans chose delegates to the national Republican Convention. I should know; as a Colorado Republican I participated in the caucuses.
But apparently, for some Trump supporters, my experience participating in the caucus process is no match for a Drudge headline claiming it never happened. As of the evening of April 10, Drudge claimed on its main page, Fury as Colorado has no primary or caucus; Cruz celebrates voterless victory.
So lets set the facts straight, beginning with my own experiences with the caucus system.
After long being an unaffiliated voter, I registered as a Republican voter late last year, in part so that I could participate in Colorados Republican caucus system this year. (I plan to remain a Republican, barring an unforeseen major shift in the political scene.) I looked up how to participate in my precinct caucus on March 1, showed up, participated in the meeting, and successfully ran as an alternate delegate to the county convention on March 19 and to the state convention on April 9.
-snip-
A completely fair headline of what happened this year would have been, Colorado Republicans Select Presidential Delegates the Same Way They Did Last Time. But the reality of the situation is so much more boring that the trumped up version of it.

Yes it would be.
Wh, wha?
This is becoming comedic. What kind of site does Jimrob want this to become?
Border Patrol Agents Demand GOP Provide “Free,Fair and Open Elections in America

... In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, the National Border Patrol Council wrote:
“In our March 30th endorsement statement of Donald J. Trump, we, the National Border Patrol Council called upon the American people to stand with border agents in support of Mr. Trump and his pledge to end illegal immigration. We fully expected that the will of the American electorate, whatever they decided in this primary, would be upheld. It is now clear that voters are being disenfranchised in order to protect established interests.
By cancelling the election in Colorado, the Republican Party has found a brand new way to disenfranchise voters who want secure borders and safe communities. Once again, the will of the public who have pleaded for immigration enforcement is being overridden by special interests with agendas. We see the same thing happening across the country, where delegates won by Mr. Trump through a popular recorded vote have made secret arrangements to support other candidates, thwarting the will of the millions of voters they collectively are supposed to represent. This is insidious.”

The kind of site where FReepers take you up on your invitation to read the article, and then comment in kind? BTW, you didn't ping Jim to your comment about him. That, Tedlim, is unwise.
“The simple fact is that the Republicans at my precinct caucus mostly disfavored Trump, and evidently that is true of most other precincts as well. Trump lost in Colorado because hes just not very popular here.”
Ha! Thumbs-up on the tag line!
Its much harder for Trump to “win” a GOP state caucus/primary when thousands of democrats and rent-a-mob types aren’t allowed to influence the outcome.
Hey Stan, get a grip. You’re getting carried away by your emotions.
How about it Jim?
Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.
April 8, 2016: Five (5) anti-Trump posts.
April 7, 2016: One (1) anti-Trump post.
April 6, 2016: Four (4) anti-Trump posts.
April 5, 2016: Eleven (11) Cruz fellation and/or anti-Trump trolling posts.
April 4, 2016: Ten (10) pro-Cruz and/or anti-Trump posts.
April 3, 2016: Six (6) pro-Cruz and/or anti-Trump posts.
March 31, 2016: One (1) anti-Trump post
March 23, 2016: Eight (8) anti-Trump or pro-Cruz posts.
March 21, 2016: one (1) anti-Trump post.
March 15, 2016: SEVEN (7) posts on Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones film. March 14, 2016: One (1) anti-Schlafly post.
March 11, 2016: Two (2) anti-Schlafly posts and one anti-Trump post.
So for the past month, 32+5+1+4+11+10+6+1+8+1+1 = 80 anti/Trump or pro-Cruz posts (most mocking and without any substance) vs 7+3=10 posts on any other topic. Three of those were against Schlafly, who btw recently came out in support of Trump.
So being generous, over the past month, an 8:1 ratio of pure propaganda posts over anything else.
Troll status *confirmed*.
Can someone ask Jim to ZOT this GOP-e apparatchik?
Oboy.... 2016 version of hanging Chad’s.

1776 Revolution was over taxation without representation.
2016, we still have taxation without representation .
Trump screws up so Cruz should be penalized. Only in Trump world. I guarantee you if the shoe was on the other foot, you would not agree.
I was a delegate to State, elected by my neighbors to the State Assembly.
Somebody is lying to you. There is no such thing as a "15-year post as a delegate. "
ALL State delegates are elected to the the State Assembly. It doesn't matter whether or not you were a delegate at the previous Assembly. After the Assembly, the delegates are done, finis, kaput, there is no "post" of 15 years. If he got elected, he went to the Assembly. Period.
You do not know any such thing. There is no such thing.
While I am suspicious of your domicile as indicated by your screen name, I am glad to see someone who is supporting Cruz posting an item of substance about a controversy, for once.
