Calling the Colorado Republican Partys decision not to hold a primary popular vote a scandal, talk-radio host Michael Savage declared Sen. Ted Cruz should disavow the move and call for a vote.
What just happened in Colorado should, frankly, disqualify Cruz, who claims to be a constitutional conservative, Savage told his listeners Monday.
Savage is a strong supporter of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who has been a regular guest on The Savage Nation. (full article at link)

It would help, but not sure if it’s practical to keep the voter rolls in sync with that. My welfare pitch is to require community service to receive any. Where it’s been tried, the rolls decrease dramatically.
Savage needs to get back on his meds.
Trump is modeling his campaign after Don Rickles, so I’m not sure what’s better.
Do you think Dewhurst should have won the Texas Senate over Cruz because he had the highest percent on the first vote? Or do you understand why they had a runoff election, which Cruz won?
hmm. so, there's an income ceiling on who can be a 'man of the people'? Cruz's wife got her wealth from Goldman Sacs. I'm sure Cruz knows a lot of wealthy lawyers and politicians. By your standards, neither Cruz nor his wife are a 'man of the people'. But now you've got me wondering. I know a lot of wealthy ranchers - am I not 'one of the people'? I'm not sure if your argument is logical, too many open doors out of that barn.
From my post #15:
“At this point, both the Colorado GOP and Dem chairs have agreed that we will return to Presidential Primaries in the future.”
This was NOT an option at the point the Nat’l GOP changed the rule to require Straw Polls be binding.
Cruz is a fraud and is no better than Dewhurst. Cruz needs to be removed from his senate seat and replaced by a true tea party conservative, not one who lies to millions of people about things like his immigration position, claiming he never supported amnesty, even though he did as recently as March of last year.
Hannity and Ingraham not happy about it either, only the fascists on the right seem to be ecstatic about it. However the entire country can now see how corrupt Cruz and the Establishment are, and only Shrillary benefits by this.
That’s really immaterial to my point.
You may have been the #1 student but that doesn’t make you the smartest.
The goofy kid that sat in the back of the class has always turned out to be more successful. Common sense trumps “ book smart borderline idiots “— always.
P.S. The meanest thing you can do to a conceded brainiac is call them stupid.
You’re a fascist
No offense. I invariably call liberals “white liberals,” because it is so fitting for that special breed of naturally obnoxious, patronizing liberal.
I am increasingly finding it fitting for a subset of conservative Republicans, so I am expanding my use of the adjective.
More snot.
No. Several people on FR posted about the Colorado rules well before they chose their delegates, including some who pointed out that Cruz would do well and others who said Trump would go in there in time. If the educated spectators at FR knew, Trump had fair notice too. [I'm not going to search for the links, but I imagine several people remember those discussions.]
Trump lost Colorado under the rules in effect. I don't like the rules, but Trump had a fair chance to try for those delegates. The important thing is for Trump to get his act together in all future states. It's nice that he's winning the popular vote, but he needs to focus at least as much on winning as many delegates as possible.
All the caucuses in the decade I've lived in Colorado have been tainted. The reason the previous ones did not become national scandals is because in the previous ones there was nothing left to vote for by the time Colorado's turn came up and we were irrelevant.
Yup.
How many votes did Kasich and Trump get in Colorado??
Try to defend it all you want.
Doesn’t change the fact that this is leaving a bad taste in peoples’ mouths.
Using the letter of the rules to violate the spirit of the rules? That’s crap.
