AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do — host. Get ready to what you were born to do — listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.

Ah, the old Republic argument. Of course, that was intended for the FEDERAL government not for how local party politics is conducted, so you are 100% wrong there; but second, St. Ted running as the honorable candidate MIGHT be expected to be honorable anyway.

One man, one vote.

But not St. Ted. It’s win at all costs because staying in DC is more important than the principle that people get to choose their leaders.

He’s showing more and more why he’s so hated, and it has nothing to do with his “conservatism.”

If Cruz thinks he can win he is devoid of any sense of reality. He is a roadblock. He is not smart enough to steal the election from the GOPe.

Hmmm...regarding Supreme Court justices, I have four words for you: David Souter, John Roberts.

Bless your heart!

Precisely. He’s trying to say the “establishment” set the rules (thus not St. Ted’s fault that he only “plays” by the rules), but that the only chance for an outsider to win is for Trump to win, but St. Ted doing everything he can to screw up Trump winning, but that’s ok, because it shows how brilliant St. Ted is.

Spinning like a dervish.

Thank you for that clarifying comment. Politics and government are not the same thing. Right?

The structure of the federal government is not the same as elections, which are decided by the people. Indeed, the Constitution says little about elections except that they be held.

But what is happening is that the SPIRIT of the law, namely that the government is of the people, by the people, for the people, is being destroyed by St. Ted, who seems to think it’s “of St. Ted, by St Ted, and for St. Ted.”

“When Paul and Trump start gaming the system, as you call it, you trumpers will be dancing in the streets.”

At least you admit the system is being “gamed”. It is because of the rules put in place by the Republican club that allows this to happen. This is one of the reasons we want change in Washington.

Representative elections ensure every man has a voice. In populous elections, the lone man gets drowned out by the loudest voices.

I was a Kemp delegate in the 1988 Iowa caucus. I have voted since then, and the only time the state republican party cared to hear my voice is in caucus states.

He did it in a clever way by just reporting any negative thing about Trump. Real clever.

Well, kinda! Rush will let a caller trash Trump, say some of the most despicable things about Trump, and will egg them on. That way, he can deny he ever said anything negative about Trump.

Quit listening and will be cancelling 24/7 when due.

Would like to know if the radio-a-thon from Friday brought in less money this year because of a drop in listeners.
