Some in the rest of the rest of the field have shown us how petty they are. Absolutely no reason for Cruz or Kasich to be in this other than to behold to the power brokers.

This morning I offer a prayer from Psalms. The Psalms were written between 1440 BC and 586 BC. These are the first prayers that were written down. Christ prayed these prayers. Also, if you have ever seen a Hasidic Jew wearing what looks like a little box on their foreheads, inside are miniature copies of the Psalms. I am astounded that something written over 3,000 years ago is relevant today.

Just one man’s opinion.......any man or woman (regardless of political slant) that resides in New York State, either upstate or in New York City, that votes for Ted Cruz, “the New York Hater” is a traitor to all the great things New York and New Yorkers stand for.

Yes....as an ex-New Yorker of some fifty years of residence there in Queens & Long Island, I fully realize the political shortcomings of Left-Wing New York politics....but, Ted Cruz attacked the New York people, who are fantastic, not only all the time, but when the chips are really down. And.......The other great states in the Northeast fully understand that “evil” Ted Cruz meant all of them....too!!!

Free Republic's Donald Trump Supporters PLEASE READ

I will begin by stating that the purpose of Live Rally Threads are to provide a positive, flame-free environment for supporters to rally for their candidate. Supporters should be supportive of both the candidate and fellow supporters. Agitators shall be asked to leave. A Rally Thread, in other words, is a reflection of an actual physical Rally with exception to the physical congregation of supporters.

Now to get to the reason for this post, I will reiterate a key phrase from above:

Supporters should be supportive of both the candidate and fellow supporters.

We, as a community, are not always following through with this second part. While it is election season, tensions are high, and we don't want agitators on these threads, there are some of us (I have done it as well) that have knee-jerk reactions to posts and posters that we may not know. Unless the post is adamantly negative or against the candidate, take caution in your response. There are many FReepers that are becoming extremely frustrated and angry about the shenanigans of this election season, and are tired of it. Adverse responses to their frustration can and have pushed some away from staying with the community (not saying they aren't continuing to support Trump). Please keep this in mind when posting responses to what may appear as negativity on the Rally Threads. We need to lend support to those that are frustrated and not lash out at them.

Furthermore, we need to refrain from lashing out at fellow supporters who do mistakenly misinterpret another's supporters comments/frustrations. There are proper ways of letting someone know that they are incorrect in their assumption and are blasting a fellow supporter. Use common sense. As well, if the supporter is arguing back after you point out their mistake, take the conversation private. Continuing the conversation on the thread, takes away from the purpose of the Rally Thread and the other supporters on the thread.


I am not calling out anyone directly and ask that you do not either. Many of us are guilty of it and we need to be considerate of our fellow Trump supporters.

Good morning nikos! Good morning all! What a fiery rally yesterday eh? That’s our candidate- Mr. DJT! Kudos to that preacher and his opening introduction. Just a reminder- ALL LIVES MATTER!

Here in the southwest US we are experiencing some really pleasant and quite mild weather. A few spotty showers passed through Sunday, but nothing measurable.

I’m leaving for California, tomorrow. I’m going to help a person in their 70’s, and a person in their 80’s, both of whom open their shared home to hikers passing through- all attempting to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, from the US-MX border, to the US-CN border, 2,650 miles in length, in one season. I’ve attempted the same hike myself, every single year since first trying in 2012. I’m taking another go at it in 2016, hoping to git’ er’ dun’ this time.
