Morning all. Had a beautiful weekend with my adult children. I caught up on the news last night and my head is spinning from dirty politics and sleazy tricks. Keep those postcards going. Volunteer. Attend those rallies. Spread the news. And keep Mr Trump in your prayers. Going to spend the last day with the kids before they head back. Y’all have a great day!!
This morning I offer a prayer from Psalms. The Psalms were written between 1440 BC and 586 BC. These are the first prayers that were written down. Christ prayed these prayers. Also, if you have ever seen a Hasidic Jew wearing what looks like a little box on their foreheads, inside are miniature copies of the Psalms. I am astounded that something written over 3,000 years ago is relevant today.

Help us, Lord!
There is not a good person left;
honest people can no longer be found.
All of them lie to one another;
they deceive each other with flattery.
Silence those flattering tongues, O Lord!
Close those boastful mouths that say,

Our Pastor added that prayer to the end of each and every Mass said at our church, after he says “The Mass is ended, go in Peace”.
Looks like it will just be my husband at the rally as my daughter has an audition that I need to take her to - however my husband is definitely going and I will report his impressions although it might be after the event.
