Ted Cruz risks primary disqualification in New Jersey resulting from charges of ballot access fraud. A primary ballot disqualification hearing is scheduled by the Secretary of State for Monday, April 11 at 9:00 a.m. in Mercerville, New Jersey.
Washington D.C. Law Professor Victor Williams charges that Ted Cruz fraudulently certified his constitutional eligibility for office to gain ballot access. Williams demands that Cruz be disqualified from several late-primary ballots: "Cruz committed ballot access fraud in each state when he falsely swore that he was a 'natural born' American citizen." Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada and held his resulting Canadian citizenship until May 2014. Cruz is a naturalized (not natural born) American citizen.
Williams' fraud charges had quick effect in New Jersey. Rather than accepting Cruz's ballot petition when filed last week, the Secretary of State ( Kim Guadagno) scheduled the unusual Administrative Law hearing for April 11. The Canadian-born Cruz must prove that he did not falsely certify his eligibility for office.
Cruz's ballot eligibility is also being challenged in California, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington.

Bellei was entitled to a court case before his citizenship was taken away.

Bellei was a natural born citizen at birth.

I don’t think you understand how the corruption of America works. Let me tell you story of Microsoft. Microsoft was a very successful software company making a OS called windows and on this OS they included a web browser call internet explorer included with the price of the OS. Now anywhere else besides America this wouldn’t be a big deal.
However, Microsoft had a strict policy of not donating money to Washington DC. Their attitude was one live and let live, no reason to buy people in DC. Now MS got richer and richer and yet they still didn’t give to anyone in DC. This pissed the political class off as it’s a unwritten rule that once you get large enough you pay up or else.
So the justice department sued Microsoft include a web browser as part of their OS. Now one might ask why would it be a big deal to include a web browser with your OS? The answer is it’s not a big deal, but the justice department wasn’t trying to help American consumers, they were trying to harm someone who wasn’t paying bribe money.
It cost Microsoft billions and the legal battles went on for years. Finally Microsoft saw the light and started donating to democrats, republicans, politically connected charities and poof the lawsuit against Microsoft went with an easy settlement. Since then MS has regularly paid DC bribe money just to leave them alone.
The moral of the story is if you don’t bribe them, they rob you, which is what Trump does. No one hates the system more than Trump.

The actual first passport you had from 42 years ago is not preserved.
The fact that some private family kept a document in their personal records does not mean that the kind of records you are talking about are retained.
Normally, document retention policies are for FIVE (5) years — not 42 years.
Most likely SCOTUS just refuses to hear the case. Too hot, and not a social justice thing that they are wont to push (like abortion and homo marriage). SCOTUS stood by silently as the circuit courts claimed the SCOTUS Presser case stood for the opposite of what it actually said. I can picture a scenario where the courts below find Bellei to stand for the proposition that Bellei is natural born. That's absurd to anybody who has read the Bellei case, but no more absurd than asserting that Presser stands for the proposition that states may intrude on the right to keep and bear arms.
In the evolution of Presser, this chronic and deliberate judicial dishonesty was not called out by SCOTUS, even though it was presented with multiple opportunities. SCOTUS is happy to let errors persist and even take firm root, as long as the outcome is the one they prefer.
The overwhelming majority of the powers that be, all of Congress, all of the courts, all of the players in the political parties, all of them see the NBC clause as an anachronism, and they will not apply it.
If SCOTUS rules that Bellei stands for the proposition that citizenship at birth, by statute, is natural born, that reversal has play in immigration law. The issue is not confined to presidential eligibility, although again I can imagine a court setting up a legal fiction where presidents-elect are natural born, but other people in the circumstance are not. That goes with the legal principle that laws apply to the little people, but not to the powerful.
