Ted Cruz risks primary disqualification in New Jersey resulting from charges of ballot access fraud. A primary ballot disqualification hearing is scheduled by the Secretary of State for Monday, April 11 at 9:00 a.m. in Mercerville, New Jersey.
Washington D.C. Law Professor Victor Williams charges that Ted Cruz fraudulently certified his constitutional eligibility for office to gain ballot access. Williams demands that Cruz be disqualified from several late-primary ballots: "Cruz committed ballot access fraud in each state when he falsely swore that he was a 'natural born' American citizen." Cruz was born in Calgary, Canada and held his resulting Canadian citizenship until May 2014. Cruz is a naturalized (not natural born) American citizen.
Williams' fraud charges had quick effect in New Jersey. Rather than accepting Cruz's ballot petition when filed last week, the Secretary of State ( Kim Guadagno) scheduled the unusual Administrative Law hearing for April 11. The Canadian-born Cruz must prove that he did not falsely certify his eligibility for office.
Cruz's ballot eligibility is also being challenged in California, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington.

Citizenship is germane but not the issue. The question he must answer is — were you born in the United States. So many are way off base on this. I’m trying to help because they are so ignorant of the real issue.
One more time: that was an attempt to remove the restriction on naturalized citizens becoming president. It failed.
Ted Cruz published his Canadian birth certificate on the Internet in August of 2013. That answered the question of where he was born.

Unfortunately, if you were right, there would have been no need for him to be registered as a Canadian citizen. He could simply have stood on his so-called natural born American citizenship if any Canadian issues arose.
But he couldn't do that, because he wasn't natural born, and his parents knew it, and Canada knew it.
And he knows it.
He's naturalized, not natural born - if he's got naturalization papers. Without them, he's not even an American citizen at all, since he renounced his Canadian citizenship.
Also, Cruz won't show his parent's marriage certificate. If they weren't married when he was born, his mother would not meet the requirements of the relevent naturalization statute (https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartH-Chapter3.html) since his mother didn’t live in the United States for the year before he was born.
Cruz is a huckster. He's playing for the GOPe, which means he's playing for Hillary.
Which means he's lying.

I want to know if his mother had effectively renounced citizenship prior to his birth. Whether that action would preclude his obtaining citizenship at birth. His renouncing Canadian citizenship, while not legally being an American citizen would be a disaster for him.
Yes. It is over. This man needs to step aside. I don’t know why he wasted our time. It was futile.

It is my understanding she moved to Canada in 1967. If true then she could not become a Canadian citizen before 1971, after his birth. And if she did become a Canadian citizen in 1971, that could explain why she appeared on 1974 Canadian voter rolls.
Is there documentation available to that effect. That is what I believe is important. Others will need to hash out the naturalized/natural born/application of terms issues.

At the time mother was NOT American, but a Canadian citizen. Dual citizenship NOT allowed. With that said she totally irrelevant regarding his NBC ship!

He’s NOT even eligible to be a U.S. Senator as being a CANADIAN citizen until May/2014. The reason it all covered up is it would open cans of worms all the way to the W.H. and nobody wants going there !!!

The law works best for people of substance especially for well known politicians but for you an me, ehh not so well.
Any person that went to school in the 50's would tell you exactly that unless they are Cruz supporters, then maybe not.

Amazing how many lawyers are willing to lie their azz of if fits their purpose. Cruz is, without question, not a natural born citizen, in fact there has been no proof presented to prove he is even a citizen let alone an NBC.
