First of all, there was no guy who stood up and voted for Trump in the public count at the last minute. That did not happen. If it did happen then why would the Trump Slate Leader, Todd Lifka, allow for paper votes without protest? Furthermore he signed off, literally, on the final secret ballot votes. Todd Lifka was the Trump Slate Leader, not Lloyd Sloan.
Secondly, there was a motion to vote by secret ballot for the Slates and Lloyd Sloan tried to stop the vote. He was not recognized. I would not have agreed, as Lloyd correctly pointed out, to split the Slate anyways. If that was brought to a vote it would have been defeated. The vote was to use secret ballot and that motion passed 30-27.
Third, the secret ballot was on paper and Caucus voters wrote either Cruz or Trump. Todd Lifka, Missouri State Representative Dean Plocher (R-89 who acted as Parliamentarian), Credential Committee Chairman Tony Jokerst, and I, all witness the paper ballot counting and Cruz won the Congressional Caucus vote. No one stole an election or ripped anyone one off. Trump simply lost the Missouri River Township Caucus.
The first vote was on the Congressional District Slate. The Cruz Slate won 29-27. At that point Lloyd made his statement and stormed out. The Sate Convention vote was called and voted on. Cruz won 29 to 20.
All the while some lady video recorded our proceedings without asking us. The recording will show there was no late standup voter. It will show that the Trump Slate Leader, Todd Lifka, said nothing about being ripped off or a deciding vote cast at the last minute. As previously written he witnessed the counting of the vote signed off on the vote with signature and left resigned that they had lost fair and square.
Thank you for this on the scene report.
It certainly makes the previous hysteria from the trumpers look foolish.
But, then, they usually do.
I don’t believe you. I do believe your tagline, however.
The evidence since Cruz was revealed to be an insider is overwhelming even by his own statements. He is not ethical and not honest. He may think he is and that would be further evidence of his megalomania.
The evidence is clear that he violates rules, laws and policies to suit his own ends. His statements to the media regarding events and tragedies reveal a fixation on Trump as the cause of all ills, and of his problems. It is now clear he has a screw loose.
If I heard your testimony against the backdrop of all the other incontrovertible evidence of his deceit, I would put it on the shelf to be later corroborated. In other words, your post has an uphill climb and is not to be believed on its face because of all the other evidence that characterizes Cruz.
I was the winning Cruz Slate Leader and was there at the Missouri River Caucus. Lloyd Sloan is not telling the truth and is making misleading statements.
As a Trump voter, I really don’t care what your “story” is. Here’s the deal: Trump’s bound delegates awarded from the primary/caucus votes will vote for him at the convention on ALL ballot(s). If they do not his millions of voters absolutely will not be bound to the GOP ticket in the general.
In my state of Florida 1.1 million people voted Trump. Obama won the state by 80,000 votes. There is also an open Senate seat here. Do the math. Cruz isn’t winning FL in the general without Trump supporters. The GOP isn’t winning a FL Senate seat w/o Trumpers. Period.
So my “friendly advice” to you would be that Cruz supporters think really hard before you put matches to the GOP because that is what is guaranteed to happen if these shenanigans continue at the convention. Bottom line is there is no positive outcome for Cruz in stealing Trump’s delegates.
That won't stop many Trump supporters from believing what they want.
I don't like liars and if this guy Lloyd Sloan is lying, then everybody who reads this thread needs to read your rebuttal.
At this point, more than your word is required.
It is wrong to assign to Trump a delegate that is loyal to a candidate other then Trump over the objections of Trump. That is just plan wrong. That you are OK with doing this means you are the problem.
#NeverCruz
You want a divided party? You got it. Maybe all us disenfranchised Trump voters vote a straight D ticket. Payback is a b.
