It is a well-known fact that the corporate world is powered by high-end coffees. With pithy corporate executives forced to work early morning hours to keep their companies competitive, they must find a good source of status-quot coffee to start their day and show they are in charge.
Powerful liberals understand this fact and have thus encouraged young lesbians to start exciting careers in the barista industry. By working at local Starbucks nationwide, lesbians have...

One of Gardner’s real attractions to “the craft” was parading himself around naked.
Proud to have never ever bought anything from Starbucks.
wow sounds great! where do i sign up?
The Starbucks logo is not and never has been a representation of Lillith.
Starbuck says she was inspired from a 16th century Norse woodcut of a twin-tailed mermaid, or Siren. Others say it is that of a Greek "twin-tailed mermaid, or siren. But in any case it was meant to represent the seafaring history of the companys origins in Seattle.
But where ever the logo came from or from what it was inspired from, the OP has been punked by a satirical a fake news site.
Here is a translation of their About page which is written in Latin but translates in English to:

And dear readers, the world has been cast into a new era of unprecedented bias flamboyant polarity and political darkness . Forces are fighting to control the destiny of humanity, has become the chief instrument of communication spreading - good or evil dark . In which the community . Liberal staff members with the shadows , do not come in the way of finding information with the culture of the company, news reports said support us as staff writers and guest. At the same time , and join our worldviews and at the same time , a very strong liberal light of the rise in the darkness.
No, I did not know this. I don't remember how I came across this website. I can only think that this past Nov or Dec, I might have been strolling the internet for coffee. I just don't remember how I found this site. I do remember though, when I spotted this Starbucks article. It stood out vividly on my computer screen. So I bookmarked the url and was just looking through my files this morning. Thank you very much for telling me. I'll remember this in the future. It's not often I can be fooled.
In todays age of so many amateurish blogs and IMO, very lazy and highly gullible bloggers and with so many satirical/fake news sites (and often with many bloggers merely repeating posts from fake sites thinking they are real and without doing any research or vetting them first), it is all too easy to get punked and forward or reposting them. But this sort of thing only serves to make us Conservatives look gullible and stupid when we do so.
I get forwarded via emails or via FB or have read posted here, all too many of these sorts of fake and satirical stories. The first thing I do is look at the sites About page or look at the other articles posted at the site to get an idea of what they are really about. The next thing I do is look for confirmation from more legitimate news sources for confirmation and I do a search on the site to see if it comes up as a satirical or fake site.
Good rule of thumb for the future take some time to research your source first before posting and if you still think you want to, dont post blogs posts in News/Activism.
HERE is starbuck's official proclamation;
So, Who is the Siren?

Great question. Its one we kept asking ourselves during the evolution of our logo (and yes, thats right, a writer was involved in a logo project). We all needed to really, deeply understand for ourselves who she is.
So, a little history.
Lets go all the way back to 1971, to when Starbucks was first coming to be. In a search for a way to capture the seafaring history of coffee and Seattles strong seaport roots, there was a lot of poring over old marine books going on. Suddenly, there she was: a 16th century Norse woodcut of a twin-tailed mermaid, or Siren. There was something about her a seductive mystery mixed with a nautical theme that was exactly what the founders were looking for. A logo was designed around her, and our long relationship with the Siren began.
Over the last 40 years weve made some changes to that identity. Now were doing that again, to keep ourselves relevant as we evolve without ever losing sight of our heritage. But the Siren has always been there. She is at the heart of Starbucks.
As a writer, though, I can tell you that there is a lot more to her than just the design and how she looks. This is what she means to me, and to us.
She is a storyteller, carrying the lore of Starbucks ahead, and remembering our past. In a lot of ways, shes a muse always there, inspiring us and pushing us ahead.
And shes a promise too, inviting all of us to find what were looking for, even if its something we havent even imagined yet.
She means something different to every one who sees her, who knows her. For me shes kind of the final say on the spirit of everything I write and everything we do. Even as Im writing this, I wonder what she thinks. (She likes it, by the way.)
Here we are today. Our new evolution liberates the Siren from the outer ring, making her the true, welcoming face of Starbucks. For people all over the globe, she is a signal of the worlds finest coffee and much more. She stands unbound, sharing our stories, inviting all of us in to explore, to find something new and to connect with each other. And as always, she is urging all of us forward to the next thing. After all, who can resist her?
Not me.

Ahhh Yeah I don't pay over 2 bucks for a cup of coffee either anywhere..
See, the reason I don't is because I was smart enough to realize that it is much hipper to not overpay for things I can get elsewhere much cheaper. And since I learned that at an early age it is why I now am retired well before 60 and have plenty of money to live on.
I watch people who constantly complain they have no money to live on while they are cruising around in their 50 thousand dollar SUVs while drinking their 4 dollar mocha chocas from Starbucks and texting on their 800 dollar iPhones/androids. So I may sound stupid to you but realize, I am sitting here in my large downtown commercial building in which I live that is paid for with literally no personal bills save for utilities and insurance, a new car parked out front we just paid for cash (And got a ridiculously good deal on due to the dealer being stuck with 10 of the same 2016 car that he was having trouble selling.) and the reason is because my Mom didn't raise any children that are dumb enough to overpay for a cup of coffee.
Also the satire part of the comment doesn't have anything to do with my comment. My comment was about Star Bucks high prices not about whether they were doing anything with lesbians etc.
#19 ~ excellent post...
I can’t really complain about Starbucks, I don’t go there. I not into expensive desgner coffee. Just give me a cheap cup of “Joe” and you’ve made my day.
I’m no fan of Starbucks, but is there any actual evidence that the picture on the cup is intended as a picture of Lillith?
A feminist once asked me how I view lesbian relationships.
Apparently, HD was not the correct answer.
So what do you pay for a cup of coffee?
$1.61 for the dreck from McDonalds?
IHOP coffee for $2.19?
Waffle House quality for $1.79?
Starbucks isn’t about being hip. It is about a good product at a reasonable price in a convenient location. Must be working because they are up to over 21,000 locations.
As for the phone, I own Apple phones and have never paid more than $200 for any of them. I have had cheap phones. They tend to be awful. My business and livelihood are dependent on a phone that always works. No Andriod device I have had has been anywhere near as reliable as my iPhones. They must be doing something right.
This crotchety, persnickety attitude of some on FR - especially without firsthand knowledge of what they are talking about - is really getting old.
Lol doofus, I didn't write anything. All of this is from the article. Dummy.
Yeah OK but I sit her smiling at the irony that you are claiming I know not what I am talking about because I refuse to overpay for things I can get elsewhere cheaper.
BTW I rarely buy coffee anywhere at any sort of restaurant. The last one I had was on a trip to look for old guitars at a flea market. We stopped at a Micky Dees and I know I didn't overpay for the coffee because it was free due to a coupon I clipped. ;)
See I figured out that if I want coffee while out and about brewing my own and taking it with me is the best deal I can get and it always tastes good.
Yep. I did get fooled. See my 57.
(and Larry Lucido, I remember you now from two days ago. I quickly shut you down in another thread when you were blabbering falsehoods about Mr Trump......so now you thought you could get some lowbrow revenge on me here, lol. Nope, your're not that bright Larry. You'll don't have the capacity to outsmart me. hahaha. Go back to the chalk board now and place your nose back in the circle, lol)
I went into Starburnt’s some years back when I was Christmas shopping at Barnes and Noble, I think.
I asked for a ‘large’ coffee and the clerk, uh, barista, got the vapors. “You mean venti?” “No, I meant large. The big cup.”
LOL...
If he’d said, “Venti..” to me, I would’ve probably said, “No, I want coffee, not Venti...”
Go to Krispy Kreme, buy your donuts...Then drive to Dunkin Donuts, get your coffee...Sit in your car and enjoy...LOL
I like the story of the guy who orders a cup using the name Bueller and never picks it up causing them to announce “Bueller” multiple times.
Most all the coffee I drink comes from a spoonful out of a jar of Folger’s Instant into a cup of boiling water...hehe...
Beautiful.. they want to gross out 99.9% of their customers.
