The video I saw wasn’t an NE charge. It was a question from a reporter at a stand up. Do you deny that?
That's what I mean. Cruz had addressed the NE story. The new question in the video went past the NE story. No candidate is ever asked such a general baseless question.
Most likely Cruz didn't want to dignify such a "do you beat your wife" type of question.
If somebody asked me such a baseless question, I wouldn't even dignify it with an answer.
