Azealia Banks posted an apology letter to Sarah Palin on Tuesday after the former governor of Alaska announced plans to sue the rapper over her hate-fueled, profanity-laden Twitter rant.
Palin told PEOPLE exclusively in a statement that she will take legal action against Banks “on behalf of all reasonable women of every age, race and political leaning.”
“I’ve had enough of the unanswered threats and attacks against my family and me,” Palin said of Banks’ NSFW social media suggestion that the former governor should be sexually assaulted. “So, for the first time I’m going to enjoy the only retribution some protected ‘celebrities’ seem to understand – I’m suing Azealia Banks and can’t wait to share my winnings with others who have gone defenseless against lies and dangerous attacks far too long.”

That was a pretty sorry apology. I’d say go ahead and sue. Maybe next time she writes an apology she will mean it instead of being condescending and cute about it.
So... Imagine if someone had made the same type of horrid comments, but instead of directing it at Palin they directed it at one or both of the 0bama daughters?
This type of “free speech” has no place in a civilized society and Banks needs to acknowledge that and do whatever it takes to set things right by Sarah and every other person who was/is appalled by the disgusting filth she spewed.
Christians can forgive. But they can still sue.

This was no kind of free speech at all, it was a solicitation and suggestion for the violent act of multiple rapes by numerous individuals.
Like I said, Banks is lucky it was Sarah, others would have seeken redress by other than tort lawsuit.
