I also think you’re on to something. A few hours ago, a video of some cute panda bears rolling around on a slide popped up in my FB newsfeed. Adorable — until I googled the lyrics for the background music (big mistake). Demon inspired? Probably. But it’s what “everybody” — well, of that age, I guess — listens to and they think nothing of it.

Great post.
“The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return.”
Tom the Son is looking forward to the terror and slaughter, but I’m not.
The time would be easy to know, for then mankind would have become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and revelling in joy. Then the liberated Old Ones would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom. Meanwhile the cult, by appropriate rites, must keep alive the memory of those ancient ways and shadow forth the prophecy of their return.Lovecraft may have been prophetic.-- from "The Call of Cthulhu" by H.P. The entire world is a test that was set up to prove to proud humanity that it would flunk.
The bible itself points out that it is folly to sit in nostalgia about the good old days. And it’s for an excellent reason that it does. The reason we got through them as well as we did wasn’t because the days were good, but because God was good.
An objective accounting would show that we’ve shed some old sins and embraced some new sins.
We need to look beyond this mortal coil rather than moan and groan about why it can’t be as good as it had been. If we merely want to be good men and women, a decent society, we’ve wanted too little. We need to be what, in our mortal view, would be mind boggling outstanding. And this is where the ministration of a Savior makes all the difference in forever.
“Must-read”?
I’ve read it.
I’ve memorized it.
Come. Read.
Then request to be on my pinglist.
The only ones making it that way are the Demonicrats leading the Demonicrat Party!!!
When I heard the US was called the Great Satan, I wasn’t surprised. I wasn’t offended. I heard Satan saying he had infiltrated the land, covered the streets with the blood of the innocent, stoked the wrath of God with all He hates and all He has said are abominations.
Overcome is the word of Revelation for believers. I say Gear up!

“Have we become a demonic nation?”
Yes.
The Bible says that all the nations are currently under the power of the evil one who is the devil, Satan. He has a demonic force with him. They all rebelled against their Creator the triune God, and they all hate mankind.
But they will not prevail. The Son of God is returning to planet earth to establish justice and righteousness and reign over the earth from Zion (Jerusalem), just as prophesied and to the glory of God. The final events are described in Revelation 19 and 20.
In the meantime, until the Coming of the Messiah Jesus, the nations are in an uproar. Psalm 2 describes it well:
Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand, and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD and against His Anointed: “Let us tear their fetters apart, and cast away their cords from us!”
He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them.
Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury: “But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
“I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘Thou art My Son, today I have begotten Thee. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Thine inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron, Thou shalt shatter them like earthenware.’”
Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O judges of the earth. Worship the LORD with reverence, and rejoice with trembling. Do homage to the Son, lest He become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
Jesus came and died for the sins of the world—for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believe in Him should not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
The apostle Peter said that God ordered the apostles and disciples to preach to the people (the Jews first) and solemnly testify that Jesus is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. “Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgivenes of sins.” (Acts 10:43) God grants repentance that leads to life.
Jesus has been raised from the dead, He is victorious over sin and death and the devil, and after He was raised from the dead and ascended in glory to the Father, He sent His Spirit to indwell every single believer.
Paul’s words in Ephesians 1:13-14: “In Him (Christ), you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession (the believer), to the praise of His glory.”
Finally, all true believers in Christ, all “born again by the Spirit” people of the nations on this earth, all those who belong to Christ Jesus—have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires and walk by the Spirit. That is, though they are not perfect in the sense that they never sin, they are declared righteous by God (justified through faith) and they practice righteousness by the bearing of the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The Spirit is conforming them to Christ-likeness until the day of the redemption of their bodies.
Those of the nations of this earth who reject the Son are led by the desires of their flesh and their father, the devil. They do the deeds of their flesh as a practice of life. The Bible says the deeds of the flesh are evident and are:
immorality,
impurity,
sensuality,
idolatry,
sorcery,
enmities,
strife,
jealousy,
outbursts of anger,
disputes,
dissensions,
factions,
envying,
drunkenness,
carousing,
and things like this, of which I (Paul) forwarn that those
who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:19-21)
Is it no wonder why we as a nation are under God’s judgment now and why ALL the nations will be judged when He returns.
This judgment is of people—individuals—of all the nations.
In closing, God said to His people Israel through the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 52:13-15):
Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up, and greatly exalted. Just as many were astonished at you, My people, so His appearance was marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men. Thus He will sprinkle many nations, kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; for what had not been told them they will see, and what they had not heard they will understand.
The Book of Job.
First, I love that poem by Kipling. Love most all of his work
Second we have devolved into evil as a nation that said I would not call us the Great Satan. The evil that is to come across the entire world may be dis heartening. One can counter with an active prayer life
Good job as usual Laz. And ,in y opinion, right on the money. I read Kipling’s poem and made a copy of it. Did you know that the parts, “The dog returned to his vomit. And the sow returns to her mire”, came from the Holy Bible? Keep up the good work.
There is only one way to overcome this evil.
We must pray to God to defeat it and to restore our land.
It this goes on much longer, God will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.
The facade is still standing, but the rot is seeping into even that.
Our history has been rewritten by our enemies who gradually took control of education, government and the culture. They've disappeared our original blueprint and persuaded millions to vote themselves into slavery.
They've achieved a great victory and only a dwindling number of us see the evil and resist. Without a great awakening, can we succeed?
I think there are signs that we can win this war.
Great piece, Laz.
Excellent, Laz. Thanks for the ping.
