The GOP presidential candidates arent the only ones calling, texting, emailing, schmoozing and all-out lobbying the men and women likely to be delegates to the Republican National Convention.
The deep-pocketed outside groups known as super PACs have joined the frantic, behind-the-scenes campaign now underway across the country to influence the 2,472 delegates poised to play an outsize role in what could be the Republican Partys first contested convention in four decades.

You get the government you deserve and the GOPe has been fooling us for a long, long time. They really had me fooled too. I didn’t catch on until like maybe 3 years ago. It was right after Obama won his second term and Boehner started talking very funny and giving every excuse in the book why they had to give Obama, his golfing buddy, every damn thing he wanted while sitting on the LARGEST Republican majority in the House in a 100 years. The “Conservative” pundits where unanimous and said you can’t do anything with just the House you need the Senate and then we got control of the Senate and.... You guessed it...a great big donut. It was obvious, the GOPe pundits and pols were working together. The pundits are our escape valve and anesthetic for all the bad news and outrages that occur almost daily. They are the opiate of the conservatives by making us feel we have a voice and things are going to change when they are not. In the parlance of the day we were played son. The short version is I agree;)
And it sucks to come to this reality, but this reality it is.
Thanks.
So why would anyone back a GOPe/RNC floor fight at the convention?
That’s playing right into their hands. If they install Ryan, we say, “Ted, your moron, you should haven known!” If they install Ted, “We say, Ted’s followers, you should have known he was GOPe!”
Ted is playing everyone for fools.
It’s crazy. Everybody wanted an outsider. Dr Carson a surgeon, Trump a business man, and Ted because we thought he was hated by D.C. They were pulling down 60-70% of the electorate. They couldn’t miss. Now we are falling over ourselves to nominate a Washington insider, GOPe stiff. It’s the passion and intensity of the people pushing for this that scares me. We are approaching biblical levels of self destruction here. So no I don’t get it.
Yes, I don’t either.
Well..., we both do really. These are propagandists trying to instill the chaos factor.
Trump is going to kick this little s-—s to the curb during his administration.
The RNC/GOPe cabal, will be pulverized.
They see it coming.
I applied to be a delegate in North Carolina. The district meeting is this Saturday. I got a call this morning asking me to support Cruz. I told them I wanted to support the nominee. He said they haven’t elected anyone yet. I said the people have. He said the delegates hadn’t met.
Evidently, the Cruz campaign is going to block anyone from being a delegate who doesn’t support Cruz. Since I wouldn’t say I would support Cruz no matter what, I doubt if I will be chosen to be a delegate at the district convention.
I heard from someone in Michigan that the same thing happened to him. I guess they plan to steal the election from the people.
Seems like dirty politics to me.
Seems like dirty politics to me.”
Cruz and the Republican establishment are working together to rig the nomination.
I would advise you to get people's names when they tell you that. See if someone will record the meeting and other conversations on their cell phone.
You are right. Cruz and the GOPe are practicing very dirty politics. They are being totally dishonest.
The Cruz campaign is checking out who we support so that they can vote against Trump supporters in the district conventions.
