If the choices are a humiliating defeat in November against Hillary which is pretty likely given he won't be able to expect much GOP support, then this is the best option for him to maintain his brand.
I’m not giong to click on it and add to their ratings.
salon, National review, Huff post
Good grief what is next Washington Times?
The Trump candidacy reminds me so much of the Jesse Ventura for Governor candidacy back in ‘98. I know. I saw a lot of it up close.
Ventura was all about running his mouth, chest-puffing and posturing.
Trump is pretty much the same thing.
The author makes several blunders.
1) The People have voted for Mr. Trump.
2) The GOP contenders are losing by electoral count
and are involved in slimy and globalist dealings.
3) The article is mean and fabricating
rather than journalistic.
Just remember- at this point in his campaign the brilliant media pundits were saying that Ronald Reagan would lose to Jimmuh Carter by 20 points.
Cruz folks in bed with the Lefties, cheering on protests and loving every word from liberal media.
What a bunch of frauds.
The Washington Times is the conservative newspaper. I think you are referring to the Washington Post.
Oh hell this is Salon, now a respected media outlet on FR by sCruzifers.
This is not worth the bandwidth on FR.
Hey springwater do they serve lunch at the sCruzifer campaign office where you work?
I wake up at night in a cold sweat worrying about what the Salon trannies are concerned about.
All of these theories are intended to deflate enthusiasm for Trump.
Trump’s brand would be fine even if he lost to Hillary in the general election. He could still spin it to his advantage, especially because unlike Mitt, he would fight hard to win.
Isn’t the original theory of Salon and others that Trump’s goal is to make sure Hillary wins?
Except that Trump has ACTUAL business experience and is brilliant.
Ventura is pretty dumb and THE ONLY THING he had was popularity among a public sick of the status quo
It fairly certain Cruz won’t have enough delegates to win on the first ballot. It is less clear if Trump will have them.
Yes. It’s about the math. The goal is to deny Trump the magic number on the first ballot. (There are ways.) If he doesn’t win on the first ballot he’s toast.
Trump ran for one primary reason. He wanted to knock Bush out of the race. That’s why he ran. Doing so would give him clout as a business guy, but primarily it is about the fight between him and the Bush family. It has morphed into something much more that he can’t stand to lose.
What a load of crap!
The Google search criteria nowadays for Trump haters are “give me anything from ‘anygoddamwhereIdon’tcareifit’sbyaliberaldonothingideologue’ with no conservative provenance, work history, education, experience in things that matter or anything else of value.”
As long as it says something about “Trump be bad....oooooh” thas good nuff for me... Trump be bad [muttered along with the phrase “I like mustard on my French fries]....
Only difference is Ventura won it all.
Trump won’t.
Trump's never toast, sonny.
