Wednesday, April 6, 2016, beginning at 7:00 PM EDT, GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Bethpage, NY at Grumman Studios. With two weeks to go until the New York primary on April 19, this will be Mr. Trumps first campaign event in his home state of New York.
Bethpage is a hamlet located on Long Island within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States, as well as a census-designated place with borders slightly different from those of the hamlet. Population: 16,429.

The attendance at rallies is not an indicator of electoral chances.
Those hostile posters take the fun out of FR. They never discuss issues, just insults and angry rants.
Yes, of course I understand that - just disappointed so many rally goers seem to fall off the wagon to the voting booth.
Thanks so much for the map. I have errands to run before my lunch date with my son Nik. Nik is an especially fond name of mine. LOL My Nikolaus has been Nik since first grade. I name him after a German friend and afterwards I think Nikolaus’ German mother didn’t use the German spelling. LOL
I sure missed freerepublic yesterday and my friends. Take care and have a nice day. Back at you later.
Another day and another opportunity to try hard to overcome the terrible crap thrown against our man.
Losing is okay if it is fair and honest. Yesterday was neither. The lies and distortions thrown from every direction was a killer
In analyzing why I am down.. it wasn't the loss(well that sucked too) but it was the way and reasoning of the loss with the PACS anti-trump lies in ads, the Media being Cruz PR department and the misunderstanding of our candidate while the other candidates steal his agenda.
The pedestal that Cruz is on is incredible (well, in all fairness - they say that about us and DJT, don't they?). I don't want us to lie about Cruz but we must be able to get out the truth with out it seeming like cheap trick lies, which is the perception many have.
disgusting.
Love the pix on last night's thread with his media rep holding the eagle. Another lovely woman with position of responsibility on his team. Apparently she was responsible for the press release after the loss. I didn't think it was that bad myself. Yeah, a bit of bitter grapes.. but like always from the heart of the effort/campaign
Well a few errands and chiropractor on docket for today ... check in later. Will be at the computer tonight for the rally in NY.
Didn’t roberts turn this down yesterday afternoon ?
does anyone know if a biker contingency is coming to support DJT? Of course we wouldn't find out this sort of thing on the news, would we?
Oops wrong case. Need another cup of coffee.
Good news!
Disagree, WI is the Walker machine, the Paul Ryan network, the Reince Preibus people. Cruz embraced all the above and it shows it won't be so easy to beat the establishment. They have so much organization in place.
For example a quote from article below by Graham:
People have asked me why I did what I did, Graham said in an interview. I think we can form a party with Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and others. I think thatd be a strong, viable Republican Party.
Cruz cozies up to D.C. establishment
Lots of donor cash and networks to overcome just in that group and Cruz is going back to D.C. to line up the rest.
I read mostly for entertainment anyway. Signal to noise at FR is awful, the vast majority of posts are void of substance, those that purport to contain substance are false or misleading about 90% of the time. It's no better than the press, in that regard.
I do agree that the hostility can be a downer, but it is also one of the more interesting aspects, just from a clinical point of view.
Don't let the bastards grind you down!
I was counting on Trump taking PA. I may have missed it before, but just saw this article which indicates a lot of the PA delegates are unbound AND that PA voters vote for them on their ballots without knowing who the potential delegates support - seems like a screwy system to me. It looks like only 17 of the delegates are bound. Mr. Manafort should start working on this.
Does Donald Trump understand the delegate rules in Pennsylvania?
“Well, this is interesting. Under a new rule adopted by the Pennsylvania GOP in 2015, the 54 delegates elected from Pennsylvanias 18 Congressional districts (3 per district) are unbound and can vote for any candidate they choose.”

Hope your husband is feeling much better this morning!
Sooooo looking forward to your report!!! Give my regards to The Donald. :)
No reason at all to be depressed. Trump put up the good fight in Wisconsin. Talk radio was #neverTrump 24 hours a day. Had the endorsements of Ryan and Walker and the Wisconsin airtime that went with it. Negative ads, again 24/7. The fact that Trump did as well as he did, Cruz could not beat 50% and Trump won the home county of Speaker Ryan (Janesville - Rock County) should leave us and Donald J Trump feeling pretty good moving forward.
On a side note, I will be failing all future trivia!!
Encouraging
Trump received 2 congressional districts. 6 delegates from Wisconsin. Map at link

:-)
Yes, there did seem to be somewhat of a disconnect.
I think/hope Mr. T runs the board in the NE!
Thanks for your “good news” Twitter report, mom. We missed you last night!!! Sending good wishes for your hubby’s speedy recovery and still praying my rosary for The Donald. :)
