The media -- only a very few of whom (like Bloomberg's Eli Lake and our own Michael Ledeen) seem even faintly interested in what is going on with Iran -- is equally complicit and even more culpable in this fascination with the tangential.
What the supposed journalists are missing is a chance to solve the greatest mystery of our times -- why Barack Obama decided to sell out those Western interests to Iran; and why, at least for the moment, he has taken the Shiite side in the thirteen hundred year plus Sunni-Shiite civil war and in so doing placed humanity in jeopardy, making the mullahs stronger and virtually assuring they will eventually have atomic weapons.
Why does this peculiar man who somehow ended up president of the United States make the often inexplicable decisions he does? Does he have real reasons (nefarious or otherwise) or is it, to be blunt, emotional disturbance?

Obama and his White House advisers are pro-Iranian. Many are unaware that throughout history Iran (historically named Persia)conquered and subjugated the known world. Conquest, not religion is always Iran’s motive. All their leaders have been enemies of America because we block Iran’s expansionist motives.

People who assume that Obama is a normal person are forever mystified and surprised by the things he does. Their explanations twist and turn back on themselves as they try to explain the unexplainable
Once you understand that he isn’t normal, psychologically speaking, and that he is a communist, and a muslim, that he does not love the US and does not love Americans, then the only surprises are around the edges. When there is a split among muslims, he may lean one way or the other inexplicably; when there is a split among communists he may surprise you which way he tilts; when there is a split between the Soros faction and the Muslim Brotherhood faction you may have trouble guessing which way it will come out.
But that’s just the fine print. He surrounds himself with Muslims, communists, and homosexuals, because that is who he is. No one gets near him who isn’t one or the other or all three.
Iran wants to destroy America. There is nothing bizarre about Obama’s love affair with them.
