Trump admits 'mistake' in Tweet of Ted Cruz's Wife

(NBC) - Donald Trump says he regrets retweeting an unflattering photo of the wife of rival Ted Cruz, a rare move for the Republican front-runner more known for his boasts than backtracking.

"Yeah, it was a mistake," Trump told New York Times.

"If I had to do it again, I wouldn't have sent it."

The retweet set off a war of words between the two candidates, and gave fresh fuel to Democratic candidates and other critics who marveled at a Republican presidential race that had descended into a fight over the candidates' wives.

Trump retweeted the photo compilation showing an unflattering picture of Heidi Cruz and his own wife, Melania, after he accused Cruz of being behind or at least knowing about an ad that featured an old picture of Melania Trump posing nude for GQ magazine.

Cruz has denied any involvement in the ad, which was shared online. Cruz scolded Trump after the retweet, admonishing the businessman: "Donald, real men don't attack women."

told Dowd, according to the column. "So what's your next question?"

#44 You might want to ask Donnie the Cad that question.

Donnie flip/flop #12 this week was his comment that he would not support the R nominee at this weeks town hall.

A day and half later after meeting with Reince Priebus he flipped because he was told if he does not commit to it as he had in Writing, he would lose his S.C. delegates, lost of the RNC mailing lists, funds and party resources in the general.

So it appears Donnie wants to be as Establishment as Cruz AND he is planning on using the establishment money, resources, staffing and leaders to campaign for him!

This will BLOW a FEW DOORS off their hinges.

This is an EXTREMLY UNIQUE interview.

It's also a promotion video clip to get you to sign up for London Real which I did NOT do.

In any event...some VERY POWERFUL clarity as to WHAT'S going on...
and some ULTRA salty language from Dan Pena.

DONALD TRUMP IS GONNA ROCK THE PLANET

http://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2016/04/wisconsin_primary_2016_who_is.html

Ted Cruz leads Donald Trump in the Republican nomination contest in Wisconsin, according to a Fox Business Network Poll released Thursday.

Cruz garners 42 percent among Wisconsin likely GOP primary voters, while Trump receives 32 percent. John Kasich comes in third with 19 percent.

Among just those who say they will “definitely” vote, Cruz’s lead over Trump widens to 46-33 percent, and Kasich gets 16 percent

Your guy is backed by Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Gram, Paul Ryan, Carly Fiorina, Nicky Haley, Golden Sachs, The Club for Growth and the entire globalist GOPe.

My guy is backed by Sarah Palin, Jeff Session, Ben Carson, Chris Christy, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Rick Scott, Jerry Falwell, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis and Lou Dobbs.

So tell me again who the conservative in this race is?

What does that really have to do with what Cruz has done while being employed by the TX citizens of this country?

Trump has been a private citizen until last June.

Trump’s lost the women vote for the most part. I know there are still cling ons but he’s got foot in mouth disease. I don’t know if there’s enough time to cure it.

"Surrogates post the ad, Cruz denies culpability. Typical slippery lawyer answer. "

Would you say the same about Trump's buddy David Pecker running negative stories about Carson, Rubio, Cruz, etc. in his magazine?

Trump has been all over Fox and Friends, Hannity and other venues saying he was thinking about running for years.....he picked this year because Hillary is so bad! He has had his hand in politics for decades. He should be held accountable for his past like anyone else!!!

"I thought someone found out that the money to purchase the photo came from Cruz’s campaign manager. Is that untrue?"

Yes, it's untrue. GQ has stated they have sold the rights to no one.

However it was the message on the photo, the intent, not the photo itself. Cruz should disavow this even if a PAC used it and “he knew nothing about it”. The buck stops there, with the man in charge.

#86 The Conservative Senator from Texas. Who has been a Conservative all his life.

Not the N.Y. liberal Con Man/ Reality TV loud mouth. Who spent 35 years supporting and being a Liberal as recent as 2012 when he criticised Romney for his mean Immigration policy position.

And now wants the ESTABLISHMENT to support him with All their resources Including Romney, Bush, Barbour etc.

Thank you for expressing the exact type of ignorant inbred thinking the Cruz PAC attack ad was meant for.

Still haven’t heard Cruz disavow it.
