West Allis, Wisconsin
West Allis is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. A suburb of Milwaukee, it is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The population was 60,411 at the 2010 census.
The name West Allis derives from Edward P. Allis] whose Edward P. Allis Company was a large Milwaukee-area manufacturing firm of the late 19th century. In 1901 the Allis company became Allis-Chalmers, and in 1902 it built a large new manufacturing plant west of its existing plant. The locale in which the new plant was built was at the time called North Greenfield, and prior to the 1880s had been called Honey Creek. With the building of the western Allis plant, the area was incorporated as the Village of West Allis, and it became the City of West Allis in 1906. Allis-Chalmers was later bought by Caterpillar.
The Wisconsin State Fair Park, which includes the Milwaukee Mile and is the site of the annual Wisconsin State Fair, is located in West Allis.

It’s getting harder for me to think up excuses for Cruz supporters. So much at stake and they’ve abandoned our move to stop the establishment. In fact, they joined it, happily.

BTW— I think I was conceived in Canada. My dear Mother was Canadian and traveled back and forth from US to Canada many times. My first year of school was in Montreal and I knew “O Canada” before my own anthem. (Still can sing it) I have a special love for for Canada and Canadians.

The station in the graphic is a California station. Cannot find anything on their website about it. And another website that is showing the graphic is saying “MONDAY shocker one day before primary”. Makes me wonder if a station was getting stories ready for tomorrow and accidentally launched it to the internet; been known to happen by other news outlets.
How much are fried clams these days back east??? I am from MASS. the ONLY thing I REALLY miss are fried clams!!!
haven’t had them in a while but usually on the menu, where every other item has a set price fried clams always says “current market price” next to it.
they are usually one of the most expensive plates on the menu.
....and we are just talking french fries and clams....clams that are all over the place here.

What was interesting to me is that when I went to vote the other day, there were 5 others there! I live in a town of about 9K. I have never seen someone else there when I went to vote early. This primary is really getting people out. I have a friend who is a Trump supporter and I will be reminding her to vote on Tuesday.
I think more voted early because they know the polls will be insane on Tuesday.
When I was growing up in Vermont, we would go to New Hampshire to see relatives. Many times we would go to Newington(sp?) to a terrific restaurant. Scallops (my favorite), clams, and so on. Checkered table clothes and decent prices. :) Oh boy, do I miss East Coast seafood.
There were a lot of good restaurants we would go to near Bath, Maine too. Dang, now I need to go buy scallops to cook this week.

I REALLY like Vermont, the Green Mountains has to be THE most peaceful place that i have ever been.
I’m sure there are MANY places in America just like it but i’m talking my experience.
sitting next to a Lufthansa pilot one night in a quite local pub up there he said the same thing, Told me he’s been all around the world but he vacations in the Green Mountains because of the beauty and PEACE.
I actually do not like seafood, Lobster grosses me out, Crab grosses me out, Scallops? YUCK, fish gross me out.
The only seafood i like is FRIED CLAMS, Mussels and shrimp.
I LOVE fried clams, poster Sam Adams has me determined to hit Kelly’s Roast Beef in Revere next weekend for their awesome fried clams!
Maybe take home a RB sub for later as well...
