Sunday, April 3, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign event in West Allis, WI at the Nathan Hale High School Gym. Watch the live stream of the event, all of us together, here beginning at 7:00 PM CDT.

West Allis, Wisconsin

West Allis is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. A suburb of Milwaukee, it is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The population was 60,411 at the 2010 census.

The name West Allis derives from Edward P. Allis] whose Edward P. Allis Company was a large Milwaukee-area manufacturing firm of the late 19th century. In 1901 the Allis company became Allis-Chalmers, and in 1902 it built a large new manufacturing plant west of its existing plant. The locale in which the new plant was built was at the time called North Greenfield, and prior to the 1880s had been called Honey Creek. With the building of the western Allis plant, the area was incorporated as the Village of West Allis, and it became the City of West Allis in 1906. Allis-Chalmers was later bought by Caterpillar.

The Wisconsin State Fair Park, which includes the Milwaukee Mile and is the site of the annual Wisconsin State Fair, is located in West Allis.

My favorite clam place growing up was Kelly's Fried Clams on Revere Beach. They were expensive, even back then, so it was a rare treat for us. Kelly's has the "clam plate" which is half clam, half french fries with a couple onion rings on top. I remember tricking my younger brother into trading his clams for my french fries. So I'd have a whole plate of clams. My brother was naive enough to think he was getting the better end of the deal. That only lasted a couple of times.

When I got older, my favorite place became Browns Lobster Pound at Hampton Beach in NH. We would always end a day at the beach there. They had a huge covered sitting area with picnic tables and you were able to bring coolers of your own drinks inside including beer and wine. I would either get the fried clams or a bucket of steamers. Sometimes both!

Nothing like that along the coast of Connecticut however. Very disappointing.

From Cruz’s teen video his two greatest ambitions was to be an actor and to rule the world.

I can’t stand Gutfeld. He’s a self-absorbed, attention-seeking, obnoxious, big-mouthed, NOT FUNNY little twerp. Look at me, look at me, listen to me, listen to me, I’m so funny, I’m so clever.....bleh. He’s an idiot.

I talked to a cruzer who went all the way to Iowa to volunteer for Cruz. I asked about the Carson drop out misinformation that told caucus attendees to switch their Carson vote to Cruz. My friend said that only happened at one caucus location in the entire state. I think it was more lies to keep Cruzers on board.

That’s a great point!
Cruz HAS changed, and not for the better!
Everytime I see him now, I think of that handshake with Rubio.
This is another Eskimo he can’t sell his ice to!

So cool to read about these places ... Lived on Revere Beach 86’ & 87’’, and lived in Hampton Falls, a hop skip and a jump from Browns!

Newicks however, is the place I remember best of all ... Their Lobstah Roll and Lobstah Stew can’t be beat! (I have the Lobstah Stew recipe, but you’d have to kill me to get it, lol)

Clams from the Missouri River just don’t cut it, LOL

Agree, this is the night that the Bush family sent out the edict that everyone under their control needed to take Trump out. Bush Sr who did not know he was on camera, directed Priebus to take out Trump. Now Bush clan and Romney are trying to hide thier dirty deeds behind Priebus and Ryan. Priebus and Ryan are such suckers. Bush clan and Romney took too much heat a few weeks ago and worried about tarnishing their brand name for playing dirty. Ha ha, Priebus and Ryan will be thrown under the bus by Romney and Bush in the future in order to say they had nothing to do with the coordinated effort to take down Trump. Bush family are SILENT. Romney is SILENT. They can't take the heat for being ridiculed in a public forum.

Jeb Bush had just dropped out. Why was George H Bush even at the Houston debate? George H gave the signal to take out Trump and Priebus, Cruz and Rubio coordinated to take out Trump per the Bush family request.

Now Romney and Bush are in hiding.

I think this was the first recorded version by Johnny Rivers.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XesDfL7Lxvs

Al Wilson was “discovered” by Rivers and produced this version.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHIcVuqQgVo

Johnny Rivers is a musical genius and still performing.

Kelly’s has since branched out to other areas. Saugus, Danvers, Natick all have Kelly’s now. But Revere is still the place to go. My parents literally live next door and you can see the restaurant from their living room window.

Reading those reviews are making me VERY hungry!
Unlike many past summers this next one is going to have to be low budget unfortunately but i WILL make it to the Maine coast soon no matter what.
Driving around looking at all of those beautiful historic homes and the sweet new ones always brings out a bit of jealousy in me, i always think “if i only had the money”....
Good livin’

Yeah, amazing how quiet they have become, ain’t it?
Honestly, that pic you posted of that damned handshake just makes me ill with rage.

I thought very highly of Cruz at one point,
but watching that just destroyed my opinion of him,
the Bushes, Romney and Rubio,

I always that Priebus was a hack, anyway.
They make me sick, the whole lot of them.

That’s odd....someone started a thread about the local Fox News WI poll showing Trump ahead, and it’s disappeared from the front page!

You can have a lot of fun on the cheap in Maine!
Hiking, swimmin, biking, walking tours..

The coast is always a blast, there are free summer concerts almost everywhere.
If you go to a church supper on the coast, you can get a bowl of chowdah, a lobster roll and a strawberry sundae for about 12 bucks!
You get better service from the church ladies than the restaurants!

Give me a heads up when you come!
Stick with me kid, I’ll take ya places!
;0)

Yea i remember the Kelly’s in Natick, i think it’s in the Jordans Furniture building on Rt 9 but i’m not sure.
Always skeptical if it was the same though...
I’ll be heading to Revere soon for a Sunday road trip to eat awesome fried clams.
Your parents must like living so close to the ocean.
