I made hamburger Beef Stroganoff (I know the real one doesn’t use hamburger) about a month ago. I couldn’t find the recipe I used to use years ago, so got one on line and changed as I wanted. Made too much for a single gal and ended up with about 4 days’ worth or more. I hadn’t made it in a long time and I enjoyed it (though it didn’t taste quite as good as the recipe I used to use). It’s almost impossible for me to make a single serving or 2 of some dishes such as stroganoff or spaghetti (luckily I love spaghetti and don’t mind eating it a few days in a row and there’s always the freezer).
You’re right - those are the kinds of dishes that are great for a Sunday - hopefully, it will be a somewhat lazy day for you, except for the Trump Family rallies and town hall).
I’m sorry you’re having weather related issues with the roof. That old saying about when it rains it pours is not a joke.... Ugh. I wish you were close enough for me to ask one of my sons to get over there and help you out.

I was in BiH during the war. Lots of the UNHCR food, and hygiene supplies ended up other places as they weren’t foods/products the people there were accustomed to. Lots of the medicines from the UN were expired.
Pity that the rice that locals would actually eat was left to rot. Hope that doesn’t happen this time, too.
Reviewing both posts, I can only surmise he may have misconstrued your post 96 where you're talking about how Rush dismissed the David and Goliath analogy which todd had also made in his post, until your very last statement which I didn't post and maybe he didn't digest, one might've assumed that you were agreeing with Rush which of course would illicit a terse response like the one you got. Just my take......
