There must be at least 11 thousand different "curries". Indonesian curries, Indian curries, Thai curries, Chinese curries...curries I never heard of.
I'd daresay it's not too much of a stretch to call Texas Chili...a curry. It's got onions and cumin, red and black pepper, probably other secret "curry" spices.

I’m having pasta with a simple marinara sauce. I just like my plain marinara sauce, my Italian mother’s recipe, better than any other sauce I’ve had. Just butter, melted, bread crumbs added and fried a bit, tomato sauce added with Italian seasoning and garlic, if you’re like me and forget to put it in with the bread crumbs. Nice and smooth and comfort food. Salt and pepper of course, with at least 24 month-aged Parmesan on top.
I’ll have some pie for dessert, if hubby ever gets home with the ice cream! I realized I have TONS of canned apples from last year, so need to start using them up before I get MORE apples this year. These 2 trees are good producers - so why did I just order 3 more? Maybe I need a support group for apple tree addiction....I also ordered a peach, pear, apricot and 2 hazelnuts and an almond. And just got 25# of seed potatoes. And got a 30x60 garden planted. Yes, I am obsessive-compulsive...and worrying about economic collapse if Trump doesn’t prevail is making me moreso!
I mean plowed not planted yet. Sigh. LOTS of work ahead!
Last time I was called and asked to donate, I told them I would never give them a plug nickel. The lad asked me why-—and with that, I said, Son, if you dont know WHY, then there is absolutely no hope for you at all!
Hmmmm....seeing the list of who’s AGAINST Trump confirms the fact that I’m on the right side. With Trump, of course. But you knew that!
