Do you agree cruz cannot get enough delegates to get the nomination before the convention?

f so and I would expect you do then he wants a contested convention right?
If so then is that what the establishment wants?

Yes of course it is.

Now what we have here is the establishment using cruz to get their contested convention and cruz is very willing to help out.

Therefore he is doing their dirty work. He hired Bush, got the help from Romney, endorsed by Graham and worked for the Bushes back in TX before he got his seat.

yes I’d say that is part of the establishment.

Now we might differ on that , but when I look at it like that then I can’t see any other picture about cruz and that is why I stopped supporting him.

Stop it.

Trump has to win 1237 delegates. When he does, the fat lady sings. Until then, it's game on and Cruz still has a chance to win. Trump doesn't like quitters or losers so stop condemning Cruz for living up to Trump's expectations.

The other guy is in it simply to create havoc and bring about a contested convention. Of course, without him in the race, most of his voters go to Cruz. Is that why you're not complaining about Kasich still being in the race.....because it helps Cruz? You guys are so transparent with your inconsistencies.

I was willing to entertain the idea that Cruz is playing the part of unwitting stooge for the GOPe in all this but no more. If anything, the article that started this thread shows that Cruz is well aware that after the first ballot all bets are off, and he’s actually pro-actively doing something about it. Doing something to ensure that the votes will be there for him second time around.

Someone said up thread “Cruz supporters complain when Trump uses the art of the deal but it’s a-ok when Cruz does the same”.

Well the reverse is also true and maybe even more so (because Cruz hasn’t been running as the “deal maker” candidate). How bad is it when the candidate who claims to be the deal master can’t even be sure all of his delegates will always vote for him?
