Not so fast, Ted: New Wisconsin poll shows Trump in neck-and-neck battle with Cruz
The Daily Mail ^ | March 31, 2016 | David Martosko

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are headed to a photo finish in Wisconsin next Tuesday according to the latest poll numbers, which show the Texas senator ahead of the New York billionaire by just a single percentage point.

Public Policy Polling, a left-leaning firm, surveyed likely voters in the Badger State and found Cruz leading the Republican primary contest with 38 per cent, compared with Trump's 37.

The dramatically different results could be explained by sample sizes: Marquette's pollsters interviewed 471 likely Republican primary voters, while Public Policy Polling surveyed 768.

They could also reflect quickly shifting political winds in Wisconsin, seasoned with a series of Trump rallies that tend to create unpredictable news cycles.

I am coming to believe that YHWH raised Ted Cruz up to see if the people who were fooled by Obama could be fooled again with a Republican of the same type. Looks like it is working for many. Worked once on Sarah Palin, but she figured it out and wasn’t fooled again.

Well we know that two thirds of humanity is going to end up in the Eternal Lake of Fire with Satan and the other fallen angels. It is sad, but that is the way it is. I just pray that most Freepers are singing on the Glassy Sea.

I am here in North Central Wisconsin and have seen Trump and Bern signs. Not so many Cruz or Hillary. I think the amount of people that hate Trump is grossly overstated by the media. It sells stories. Every rally or tv appearance brings out record views.

I think people are not considering the crossover dems, never voted and “politicians are all the same” types that Trump pulls out for his campaign. These people will not participate in the general if Trump is not the nominee. It’s a fact, not a threat. They finally have a candidate that speaks to them and for them. If he disappears there is no reason for them to participate.

That’s how I feel about the Donald. His supporters have chosen to be fooled by the Donald just like Obama’s supporters.

So he skips town for two and a half days after he steps on his Johnson speaking with Chris Matthews, the Best Poll of the state comes out (Marquette U.) showing him down 10 pts. and dropping before his interview and two days of terrible press. To meet with his Foreign Policy advisors AFTER he steps in it on Nuclear Proliferation which also required a “clarification of policy” press release from his Campaign.

After he told the Public he would be in Wisconsin Campaigning everyday last weekend...

Spin it any way you want. Don’t really care.

Tuesday evening will be interesting that is for sure.

Carson, needs to man up. You can’t pick your nose, without the other candidates using against you and he served up a softball, with his mini-Florida vacation days before NH.

I question ANYONE that would snuggle up to someone that called them a child molester type with a mental condition. Perhaps Ben is seeking a male figure in his life he was lacking somewhere alone his journey.

Well great for you. Now go back 5 year and tell us all what you find Donnie’s position on Abortion, Illegal Immigration and the Republican Party was?

Better yet, there are some great photos and quotes of him Financially and publicly Supporting Many Democrats that were openly hostile to the Conservative Platform or Constitutional Adherence.

OOOOOW but you found a Quote from Heidi Cruz....Exactly what ballot is she on again?

LOL

Have you read any of Donald Trump’s books, or even looked at the hit piece video that was made about him several years ago?

Both Obama and Cruz have no record of doing anything outside of the current governmental system. So if you want to keep the current governmental system, which is no longer a Republic, by the way, then by all means, vote for Cruz. If you want to have any chance at all of getting back to the Republic as founded, you have to vote for Donald J. Trump.

After Donald J. Trump finishes doing all the things he has promised: build the wall, deport illegals and Syrian invaders, cancel Obama’s unconstitutional executive orders, roll back twenty years of intrusive government regulations, prosecute Hillary and her crew, release the secret 28 pages from the 9/11 report, negotiate prescription drug purchases, repeal and replace Obamacare, simplify the Tax code, repatriate $2.5 trillion in off-shore profits, stop the IRS from abridging the free speech of Christian Churches, reform the libel laws to remove the “public figure” distinctions, defund Planned Parenthood until the stop doing abortions, cleaning up the mess that is the VA, cutting waste, fraud and abuse where ever it is found, canceling Common Core and returning control of education to the States, end the assault on the Second Amendment, audit the Federal Reserve System, investigate the harmful additives in Vaccines and the coverup of studies at the CDC, and destroy the culture of Political Correctness, then we can talk about all the other issues that need to be addressed.

I am sure Ted Cruz had no idea what his corrupt campaign was doing, but he keeps saying the leader is responsible for the culture of the campaign.

Did carson write in his campaign in NH and run off to Floriduh to a change of underroos or not?

He was selling books while his Bus was touring N.H. Empty the week before the Primary there. He went to Washington D.C. Is was a Sham campaign to begin with, more like an Armstrong Williams concocted National Book tour. Even his own camp said so before Williams ran them off.

Why does the GOPe not understand that the voters are wise to their games? At least Trump gives us a chance to fight. Otherwise it’s just standing by while our own team sells us down the river, signing enabling act after enabling act and contributing to lawlessness.

I love the way you summed up what Trump will do. That is why the establishment politicians hate him. They have done nothing about any of these problems and Trump will find a way. I would love to hear him say “You are fired” to a bunch of the entrenched government employees.

On the other hand I figured out why Trump calls Cruz Lying Ted. The Cruz campaign has consistently pushed the narrative that he is an outsider and that is a great big lie. Watch this video and hear Heidi describe their “status” in her own words.

In this case it does not matter what Ben Carson did. The Cruz Campaign PLANNED, two weeks in advance, TO SAY HE WAS LEAVING THE RACE. They had the letter that they faxed out all set up. They had the voice mail they sent out all set up. I wouldn’t be surprised if Amanda Carpenter didn’t suggest that the CNN reporter ask the Carson campaign spokesman about Carson’s plans in time for the scheme to come off on time.

But, if you want to believe, then you got to believe.

You really should watch the video I linked above, interview of Heidi Cruz. Here is part of a written commentary about it from www.Calebsreport.com

She notes that Claremont professors she later worked with included:
1. Dr. Edward Haley in Washington D.C. (Dr. Haley = Claremont professor)
2. Dr. S. Brock Blomberg in Washington D.C. (Dr. Blombert = Dean of Robert Day School of Economics, Claremont plus appointments to Federal Reserve in NY, the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, and the President’s Council of Economic Advisers under George W. Bush

*************
Awarded and accepted a Rotary Scholarship 1 year after graduation from Claremont which allowed her to study Eastern European economies while living in Western Europe. The Rotary Scholarship was as a result of her nomination by Dr. P. Edward Haley of Claremont McKenna College (also the Wilson Center in Washington D.C., W.M. Keck Foundation, and Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies.

The questions she worked with were:
1. Could Western Europe integrate countries of Eastern Europe?
2. How could Western Europe create a monetary union and a corresponding political union in that region?

*************
She has worked in both the public and private sector. Which does she like best?

She definitely prefers working in the public sector but also feels “going back and forth between the two” can help her in many ways including knowledge and experience she can take from the private sector into the public sector.

Job path so far includes:
1. Studied international economics and politics
2. J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City (Investment banker)
3. Political assignments by and with George W. Bush
4. Goldman Sachs executive (Investment banker / Private group investments – as in foundations, countries, etc.) She notes in the interview here she has many international clients (countries).

Her current interests are in Emerging Markets, Eastern European Economies, and Western European integration of European Markets.

She has also added experience in Latin emerging markets to her portfolio although it was not of personal choice or desire. (More detail on that below.)

After completing her Rotary Scholarship, she went to work for J. P. Morgan, 60 Wall Street, NYC (the J.P. Morgan Headquarters and also the American headquarters of Deutsche Bank).

She wanted to work with emerging markets of Eastern Europe but knew she could only do that in London. However, she felt it was a better career move for her to be in New York, (calling it a “keen” decision career wise), so she accepted the job of working with emerging markets of Latin countries.

She felt working in New York City would give her the inroads to getting into leadership opportunities in the financial community, so she began her work at the J.P. Morgan Bank as an economic expert in Latin American Emerging Markets.

While in New York and at J.P. Morgan there, she began working with:

Robert Zoellick (you hear her call him Bob or bob Zoellick), later in the George W. Bush administration)

*************

After J.P. Morgan, she was offered a paid position working with the George W. Bush campaign and made a “calculated risk” to take that believing it would be a good career move for her down the road.

She stresses how her training at Claremont McKenna College taught her how to assess a risky choice and if a good risk, to take advantage of a good situation that can be useful to one’s career later.

She felt working for George W. Bush, at such a high level political level, would benefit her politically down the road and at least give her good returns for her work.

On her first day working for George W. Bush Transition team in Florida and working directly under Robert “Bob” Zoellick, she wanted to make it clear she would go above and beyond whatever it took for those she worked for, so she went to “Bob” and told him that whatever he needed from her, she would do. (This is as her story in her own words. See video if desired).

She felt that a person like her with her training and a “newly minted MBA from Harvard like her” would be asked to sit in with him to discuss finances and monetary issues. Instead, “Bob” Zoellick said “Well then, I need juice and bread from the store”.

While feeling insulted (as she described) that someone like her would be asked to do something so menial, she said she soon came to realize he was making a point… that he wanted to know if she really WOULD do anything at all he asked her to do.

So she went to the grocery store and got him some juice and bread.

He had a similar request of her the second day, and she obliged by following exactly what he wanted her to do.

The third day, he asked her to come into confidential discussions, and she was included in all financial discussions after that point.

When Robert “Bob” Zoellick was appointed to George W. Bush’s administration, she was the first person he called to have him join him.

She emphasized that if you want your career to advance… if you want to get ahead professionally… you need to be willing to do anything for the one who can advance your career.”

This is concerning given that she says at the beginning of her video, “I will forever be indebted to my professors.”

Pay no attention to nick, he’s a Crusty Cruzer. Welcome to FR!

WHAT! Are you telling me you don’t have to be here a certain length of time before you’re allowed to post your opinion? I’m shocked!

It’s always been apparent to me that you have to be here a long time. I’ve never been told exactly just how long. I’ve always assumed you must be here one day longer than the person who wants to call you “noob”.

That is simply not true. I have always said I never endorsed or supported Cruz. I just am against nominating a Democrat socialist.

Why do Trump supporters have to lie and say I support Cruz or Walker?

Why was PPP overlooked today and Yesterday? http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2016/03/sanders-leads-in-wisconsin-gop-race-close-va-privatization-issue-hurts-johnson.html. Cruz “10 point” lead has evaporated . Why would the people of Wisconsin support a man not eligible to be president under the Constitution he is supposed to know ?(Article II is very clear). But there is literally no argument that Scruz is a serial liar and there are published reports of multiple mistresses. How can a voter in Wisconsin actually say “ Oh yeah— I will vote for Scruz!!)
