MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Ted Cruz says there is a risk that Donald Trump supporters would bolt from the Republican Party if he loses the nomination at the GOP convention this summer.

That’s why Cruz said in an interview on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee on Thursday that the best course is for the Texas senator to win a majority of the delegates before then.

Would you support whoever wins the 3rd Ballot...?

Check my posts, I've said Trump/Cruz all along. I've also said they should join forces and defeat the GOPe. They each have areas of expertise that benefit our country. Trump is probably only good for 1 term then Cruz goes for the top spot, with more experience.

If they can't join together and it goes to a 3rd, I absolutely have to vote for whichever one is the nominee. We must not let Hillary or Sanders near the Oval Office!

I can truly saying Trump tried to do it at the ballot box. All we can do is prepare.

Cruz has been setting up Trojan delegates to take it on the 2nd round. Cruz supporters have been laughing about it.

Trump supporters will not vote for Cruz because of all the dirty tricks in addition to being the uni-party person he is.

It would seem simpler to launch a write-in campaign on the R Ticket. Cross overs could make it a race.

Without TRUMP on the ticket, crossovers go back home, Cruz barely snags Republicans and loses to Bernie, who will take TRUMP’s place and take the crossovers.

Trump has millions more votes than Cruz.(and the rest combined)

Which will hurt the party more. Cruz voters staying home if Trump wins or Trump voters staying home if Cruz steals?

We need to encourage a third party Bernie run.

Same here but LYING Ted really stabbed us in the back during the Chicago protests to score cheap political points in a state he lost anyway. He doesn’t talk like a conservative but more like a rat fornicating sellout and complaining wussy. We don’t need another effeminate beta male at the top of the ticket who has alienated 75% of the base. His supporters definitely don’t do him any favors either with their constantly defending this new establishment shill as if he’s not just another Bushy. I’ll write Trump in if he’s not on the ballot.

I will proudly take my ball and go home. I will never be associated with a stinking person like Cruz.

He really fits right in to the GOPe.

Then maybe Ted shouldn’t act like such an A-hole and drive people away. He was my first choice until he turned into a pu$$y and now I won’t vote for him at all.. Ever.

Trump has succeeded in forming a 3rd Party within the walls of the Republican Party.

Trump must have thought long and hard before he decided to self fund.

And it is because he is self-funding that he can end the status quo because he need not come to the GOPe for support.

I think a whole lot of damage has been done by these "never" people.

I'm one of God-only-knows how many people who have been pissed off beyond all reckoning.

Then this idiot Amanda Carpenter with her obnoxious blacklist, and Glenn Beck calling me to repentance or some such thing.

Ted Cruz's followers have done more harm than anything Ted Cruz himself could dream of.

I admit I'm not even rational about this sometimes. I get calmed down, but there's some lunacy nearly everyday from that crowd, and then I'm just in a rage about it again.

Well, that is the intention of Cruz and Kasich staying the race, to try to get to the Convention.

Actually, Trump has a great shot at winning with the majority. Cruz has a tiny sliver of a chance. He should step aside.

Yep - it seems that Cruz ain't the paragon of humble Christian/conservative championship/and genius to boot for the People but is every bit as vain and egotistical as his supporters claim Trump is. He's letting himself be used as a cats paw by the GOPe/RNC and others who want Hillary over either Trump or Cruz.
