He actually thinks he can win the presidency. I like him but the poor guy has no idea how much he’s disliked by those outside of Texas and his immediate conservative circle. He has almost as much chance of winning the general as you or me. The establishment would rather Hillary wins the election and have said so. At least Trump is accumulating crossover voters who want their jobs back.
Right now we're just playing by the GOP's rules in the GOP's sandbox. When they change the rules (which they will) and make the sandbox off limits (which they will if they think it's necessary) all that is left for us is

Ever wonder why CRUZ gets personal or political money so easily? IMO it’s Goldman Sachs whose people have many key positions now in the Obama Administration.

You could be right. Rush has never been a movement leader, more like a sideline sniper. I guess I was comfortable with that until this election. I don’t know if Rush changed or I did but it has changed.

That's been my contention all along. The GOP-e wants Trump vanquished and they are using Cruz for that purpose. I don't blame them or Cruz but I have a problem with those supporting Cruz because they are aiding and abetting the enemy(GOPE) and don't realize it.(or maybe they do because, they too are GOP establishment) No way, no who will Cruz ever get the nomination. We'll be stuck with a Romney,Ryan or Bush and I will so damned angry.
To a degree, yes, a hypothetical. But still to those people that aren’t prolife, his answer is important to them as it could very well be reality in the future. Just as we want Hillary or Bernie to address the questions, if asked, that we believe are important to our worldview, so too our candidates should respond to questions we don’t find important but the other side does. And we need to be prepared to answer them.
Even to many on the right, that answer when it comes to women is a 3rd rail. But it’s either murder or it isn’t. If it becomes the law, without an enforcement and penalty mechanism, it’s not really a law.
Before Trump entered the fray I felt that there was no political solution for what ails this nation.
Once he was in I thought, “Maybe I’m wrong.”
Today, seeing the existential fight the Republican party is waging against him, I see my first thought was correct.
The media stole our soap box.
The Uni-Party stole our ballot box.
There’s only one box left.
Well, I had something a little less dramatic in mind. Namely, we tell the GOP establishment to shove it and find a way to get Trump on the ballot anyway.
Sore-loser laws would preclude that.
The fix is in.
Rush seems to me, to be a very unhappy person. He has become petty, childish and manipulative towards his audience. That is what finally made me turn him off. He now behaves like the “drive by media” he said he always despised.
The animosity he displays towards Trump seems personal and it does appear like jealousy.
