'I'm not confident which pedal I'd push': Ted Cruz jokes with Jimmy Kimmel about RUNNING OVER Trump, admit his childhood acting dreams and clashes with host about patrols Muslim neighborhoods

Texas Senator made the joke after an April Fools' Day prank idea was aired He also discussed Obamacare on Jimmy Kimmel Live, calling it a 'disaster' Cruz spoke about Muslim patrols as a way to protect US from radicalization Kimmel agreed to disagree with Republican presidential candidate's views The idea for the prank was to stick pictures of the GOP hopeful to the reverse cameras of cars so people would think they are about to back into him.

Discussing the trick, Cruz joked: 'If I were in my car getting ready to reverse and saw Donald in the back-up camera, I'm not confident which pedal I'd push.'

Cruz brought up the prank after being asked by Kimmel who he liked the least: Trump or President Obama.

'Look, I dislike Obama's policies more, but Donald is a unique individual,' said Cruz to the ABC host. Ted Cruz agreed to disagree with Jimmy Kimmel on opinions regarding Obamacare and Muslim patrols during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live +5

Kimmel then joked about the public perception of Cruz as an unpopular man amongst his colleagues.

He said that perversely, his strategy in this race seemed to be hanging around until voters and his political peers realized they hated all the other candidates more than him.

Kimmel said that this has already happened with Senator Lindsey Graham, who has reluctantly endorsed Cruz because he can't bear to support Trump.

Trump will have the most delegates by popular vote at the start of convention; it is almost certain. But if Trump doesn’t win on the first ballot and Ted gets the nomination on a latter ballot (very doubtful) does anyone think that Trump voters will run over to Ted?

Ted who insults Trump and their voters? Ted who will be seen rightly as stealing the nomination? A Ted GOP nomination is a certain general election loss.

If Trump doesn’t get the nomination, I doubt that he would run 3rd party unless there was a real chance he could win. Trump doesn’t want to be a spoiler because that would give the GOPe some new life because they could blame everything on Trump. But, Trump surely should not endorse or lift a finger to help someone that essential stole the nomination.

The cops found Heidi on the curb. Is this why? Did he try to run over her too? Why does he treat women so poorly?

Absolutely.

I also think he is trying to deflect from the Group of 5 or 8 or however many babes. Heck, he just launched a “Celebrate Women” initiative yesterday with his wife and mom and Carly.

BTW, I predict some new fabricated “bombshell” against Trump in next few days—right on schedule before another key vote. Of course, GOPe/Cruz will have nothing to do with that.

The snowflake insults are odd to me because wont that be one of the best examples of individualism seeing how we are told that no two snowflakes are the same?

Aren’t we conservatives champions of individualism over statism?

This thread proves one thing to me: Trumpazoids generally are greatly in need of a sense of humor.

I guess they are too worried to laugh.

Cruz is pro choice. He is dead to me. His interview knocking trump but worse saying women who have abortions are victims. Yuk! He said that today. Cruz is disgusting. A liberal through and through.

If he ran Trump over in NYC, and the trial was held in Manhattan, they would not convict him.

Trump’s joke speaks to the lemming like behavior of his followers more than Trump himself.

It looks like the “punch him in the face is funny” crowd now has a problem with that type of humor. Sorry, Trump has succeeded in desensitizing us all - your outrage is late..

Oh don’t you worry ... we have a sense of humor ... I think what’s really going to be hilarious is the upcoming SNL skit SCruz just inspired ... with SCruz in the driver’s seat with a hooker on his lap and Heidi in the trunk running down Trump ... kinda like that one they did years ago with Perot and Stockdale .. but I may be dating myself!

I actually thought it was a good interview with Kimmel. Cruz was quite funny. Everyone knew it was a joke and everyone laughed.

Geez people lighten up a little!
