Talk radio host Sean Hannity argued that perceptions of the incident between Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and then-Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields “are based on who they support for the nomination” and that the incident was “nothing” on Wednesday. Hannity said the battery charges were “insane.” He further brought up other incidents of staffers for liberal candidates getting physical with people.

Durbin, you have completely lost all credibility this election cycle. The court system cannot handle the burden placed on it by real criminals who kill, maim, and rob innocent victims. In the 25 years that I worked for a big city fire department I was punched, slapped, pushed, pulled, poked, scratched and even had a psycho point a gun at me and pull the trigger. Do you want to know how many of these people were charged with a crime? Zero! Because my coworkers and I and the police were trying to assist real victims of crime, people who had the crap beat out of them, were shot, stabbed, run over, robbed and were seriously injured. Just as ridiculous is the idea that this dumb case is somehow Cruz's fault. He didn't charge the guy or produce the video. He may have tried to make a little political hay out of the incident, but that's normal politics and the exact same thing Trumps been doing this whole campaign.
Otherwise I cannot comprehend how anyone can claim Fields has a legitimate complaint.
