Jim;
Things have gotten way out of control here as of late. You know as well as most of us, that this war must end and end now, or your forum will end up being nothing more than a joke.
I humbly suggest that you not just request, but demand, that everyone step back and take a serious look at the slanderous comments being made by both camps. Debate is one thing, but what is happening is no longer a debate. This forum is on the verge of a civil war. A war that need not happen. For the good of this great forum, I and many I have talked to on both sides of the war admit things have gone too far.
I am a Ted Cruz supporter, yet I call on all my fellow Cruz supporters to put the knives back in the sheaths, as I ask the same of all you Trump supporters.
This civil war of Freeper against Freeper must end, or the result will inevitably be a complete destruction of this once great forum.
I begin by laying down my weapons as a gesture of good will. From hence forth I will not post any comments that are just knee jerk angry remarks that only serve to fuel the fires of hate and animosity.
We all have a common enemy in this fight, the eventual Democrat Presidential Nominee. I suggest we all remember this, because a house divided upon itself cannot stand, nor defeat the enemy.
I also offer this promise to everyone. Should Trump win the nomination, I promise to fight as hard, and as passionate, for him to become POTUS as I will for Cruz.
Two Irishmen walk out of a bar.................yes, it can really happen.
Fair point.
Laura Ingraham too - all day on twitter.
“Anybody know any good jokes?”
Oldie but goodie:
A reporter for a local newspaper was looking for a new angle when the circus came to town, so he talked to the guy with the shovel that follows the animals in the parade.
“I hate the elephant the most”, the shoveler said. “And when she eats too much cotton candy from the rubes, it’s indescribable!”
“But the giraffe actually aims at my head! He’s so tall he hits it three times out of five! This is the worst job in the world!”
The reported asked, “If it’s that bad, why don’t you just quit?”
“What, and leave Show Biz?”, exclaimed the shoveler!
You’re going to base your vote—or not vote—on what some posters said that belittled you?
You need to laugh at them, FRiend.
I support Trump, but come November, I will vote for WHOEVER is running against Hillary/Bernie.
Then I have to ask. Why were a whole lot of Cruz supporters bounced that refused to support Trump if he wins and this week we had a thread where a whole lot of Trump supporters said they wouldn't back Cruz if he won. Why weren't they bounced?
LOL! Oh yea, even better.
A man walked into a cowboy bar and ordered a beer just as Clinton came on the TV. After a few sips he looked up at the screen and mumbled, “Now there’s the biggest horse’s a$$ I’ve ever seen.”
Immediately, a customer at the end of the bar got up, walked over, decked him, and left.
A few minutes later, the man was finishing his beer when Bernie Sanders appeared on the TV. “He’s a horse’s a$$ too,” he said.
A customer from the other end of the bar got up, walked over, and knocked him off his stool.
“Dang it!” the man said, climbing back up to the bar. “This must be Democrat country!”
“Nope,” the bartender replied. “Horse country!”
A Freeper was telling us to end debate
The whole thread he was trying to deflate
The proprietor came on the scene
Without even trying to be mean
Made it plain that demands carry little weight.
How's that?
I concur.
I voted Cruz in the primary on Super Tuesday, but have always said I’m good with Trump.
Cruz said some things post-Super Tuesday that made me sorry for that vote (specifically, blaming Trump for the Leftist-generated violence at the Chicago rally. Also the Michelle Fields stuff).
Trump has said some stuff recently that has made me cringe.
Either would be a huge improvement over what we have now, and of course hugely better than Hillary or Bernie.
“Can we still call Kasich a weasely quisling?”
I doubt it, but a Quisling weasel would probably be OK.
No, I originally based my no vote for Trump on what he has said. Since then it’s been solidified by what his supporters have said about my vote no mattering anyway. So that’s that.
2. Pointing out the emerging evidence that points to his established (and also perhaps to be established) character flaws is not "slander."
3. Calling for a truce when you are losing is not peacemaking, it is a ploy.
;-)
Wondered the same, but figured pissing off the boss was a one way ticket to Zotland, USA
Dang it! The only way to settle this is a WWF cage match between “Big Hands Trump” and “ Count Cruzala”
We conservatives have destroyed our November chances.
Not just on here. FR is only a mircocosm of conservatism in general.
As a group, we conservatives have so thoroughly trashed each and every one of our potential candidates, than none stands a prayer in the general election.
We never seem to learn our lesson on this. Unfortunately, the result is going to be another President Clinton.
If you can get Lyin’ Ted to quit lyin’ i’m all for a “truce.”
Good luck.....
