I’m demanding that Michelle Fields charge me with hacking her computer. She won’t, of course, because I didn’t do it. She only charges people for brushing past her at a campaign event. Nothing serious like hacking.
In December of 2015 Fields falsely accused me of hacking her computer and has continued to repeat the lie even after her bosses told her to cut it out.
She had sent me a LinkedIn request and I called her. We had a friendly conversation before she tweeted out to the world that I had hacked her. Seriously.
I texted her and said something to the effective of “what the [expletive]?” and “why did you falsely accuse me of a federal crime?” She insisted I had hacked her.
I then called her bosses — Matt Boyle and Steve Bannon — and told them to stop her and to take down the tweet.
(I take claims of hacking seriously as my Internet friend Andrew “weev” Auernheimer went to jail for arithmetic and and my associate Aaron Swartz was facing years in prison for a JSTOR mass download before he took his life.)
She finally took down the tweet after I texted her that I was calling my attorney.
She posted this in its place.
For those asking…Charles Johnson says it wasn't him who hacked my email/icloud/etc. We're looking into what happened.

That was nearly four months ago. Has she found the hacker (assuming there was one)? It doesn’t look like it. Oddly she doesn’t seem to have reached out to law enforcement in this case.
But she has continued to blame me telling other Breitbart staffers at a party I attended during CPAC in early March that I had hacked her computer. She was told by her bosses to cut it out. But she kept doing it.
Should I sue her? After all, falsely accusing someone of a crime is libel. I’m not so sure. I’m tempted to. What do you think? Email me at editor@gotnews.com. Is Michelle Fields a pathological liar? I don’t know but Fields certainly has a history of lying. She claims that she was a Fox News contributor but there’s no record she ever was.
All of this would be cleared up, of course, if Breitbart would release the emails that show Fields’s immediate reaction.
I’ve called on Breitbart to release those emails which I’m told will show that Fields did not mention her bruising.
They could even make some money.

He/she will know how to proceed. Assuming you are not a “public person,” there can be a demand letter to ANY entity that “published” (as in distributed) her claim.
A set of stipulations can be made in settlement, including probably about $10K for you and $5K for your lawyer, even before the lawyer’s time, effort and cost of filing an action.
Internet sites are VERY afraid of such actions now in the aftermath of Bollea v. Gawker, et. al.

PS, she is only ONE of the targets. She has no deep pockets. Include those who “published” her libelous accusation. That’s where the $ are.
A false accusation of violation of law is particularly onerous under civil law, and as a journalist, she would be held to a higher standard of conduct, as she is expected to know the law in these matters, probably took college course in this, etc.

Who is backing her? We know the Washington Post is tied into her recent scandal with Ben Terris.
Interesting find. Thanks. The date of that story is back in early February, so it kind of figures into this timeline.
I would speculate that the incident with its potential liability to FNC ended her career there, so she had to begin looking for alternative income streams.
She is apparently too dumb to know that all she ever had to do was bottle blonde her hair and she would have been a shoe-in. Maybe she should sue Fox News for brunette discrimination.

Anyone got the photo Fields posted after the incident?It was of her forearm with bruises. She’s clearly briefly touched on her bicep.
The ground level footage also shows her expression doesn’t change. A slight smile on her face.

Someone has located a photo on her instagram that shows a strong likelihood that is in fact her arm. The birthmark is a good datapoint.

I'm convinced that is her arm with the black and blue marks. The point that matters though is that they appear on her forearm, not the upper bicep area. Any lawyer will destroy her story right there.
Also, she was bundled up with a jacket, diminishing or even neutralizing the effect of his alleged grip.
Finally, and most importantly, she did not grimace in pain or grab her arm immediately afterwards in the video. That is a telltale sign to me that she is faking and made this up after the fact.
If she is an easy bruiser then she has no business interacting with anyone. In fact her girlfriend in that instagram photo would have left a bruise as well. She has no more business being in a crowd of people than a hemophiliac has working in a needle factory.
The photo presented as evidence of bruises on an arm did NOT show whose arm it was. Only an arm no body. Given the proclivity of this gal to make false accusations, I have no reason to believe the photo shown is her arm.

So we have two days of media lies, absolute blatant lies about the facts of the matter. Astonishing!
The bar is set so high for libel that the media talking heads feel safe blabbing uncontrollably.
Maybe some lawyer can comment as to whether they crossed the threshold here. My layman opinion is that Corey has cause to sue each one reporting the mistaken facts for defamation. Especially that little bubble-hdeaded beyotch Megyn Motormouth who is allegedly an actual lawyer ( I am convinced that she is an affirmative action diploma, she filled some quota ).
I am very disappointed in our Cruzer friends. They have zero integrity for failing to see the obvious derangement occurring right before their eyes. This is meeting and surpassing all Sarah Palin derangement, and is approaching Watergate dirty tricks.
They must come to their senses and understand that this is not about Trump or Corey. This is their strategy to attack *anyone* questioning amnesty and border security and pro-America nationalism. It will get worse yet. It will be racism and whatever it takes to stop the pro-American movement.
If there were no Trump, this onslaught would have already crushed Ted Cruz like a bulldozer rolling over a bug. It is instructive that he is now playing for the other team. Either he is not the genius they think he is, or worse, he was a charlatan all along. My money is on the latter.

I think anyone would be justified in getting a restraining order against her, or at least an order keeping her away from their public events. Having her present anywhere is a huge liability.
Trump should start this off by ensuring she never enters any event that his team is holding. It would be ludicrous to allow her to walk around and mingle with other humans because each one is a a potential victim of a fraudulent lawsuit or civil action.
The Trump Train of exposing the embedded enemy continues! One year ago today we had no clue of how bad it was and just how many enemies were surrounding us. Even the Cruzers should be able to figure this out by now.
