Greta Van Susteren and her “On the Record” panel discussed the battery charges against Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski today by a Florida court.
Greta started the segment by playing Donald Trump’s presser with reporters today on the Michelle Fields hoax. Trump told reporters,
“ “I’m not going to let a person’s life be destroyed over somebody that we have on tape. And you just take a look at what people are saying when they see that incident on tape. And no jury, in my opinion, no jury would convict a man and destroy a man over what you had here.”
Tonight former homicide detective Ted Williams and former prosecutor Katie Phang joined Greta to discuss the case.
Greta and her guests all agreed there is no way they can win this case in court and the only reason Corey was charged was because he is associated with Donald Trump. Greta said,
“In my wildest dreams I don’t see how a jury ever convicts on this with all the ambiguity. In fact, it looks like two Secret Service who were protecting Donald Trump are reaching for her. I don’t know whether or not that is what is provoking the bruises or not. That’s the problem. Here’s your reasonable doubt right there.”

What’s to correct Fields lies she wasnt thrown to the ground the film proves that She didn’t take into account the very clear ceiling camera that showed the entire incident before she wrote her bogas complaint

Lewandowski has two lawyers to represent him, Scott Richardson and Kendall Coffey, and by all appearances intends to defend himself. Marc Bunjowski of the Jupiter, FL PD is the arresting police officer.
There is evidence that Fields committed simple battery against Trump too, although I'd say it would be a mistake to get down in the mud with that pig.
Trump and Cruz are not just public figures anymore as presidential candidates with SS service, you don’t try to grab them or make a sudden approach.
The candidates staff should intervene when a wacked out reporter approaches without acknowledgement.
Thee SS should have done a better job and Lewandowki wouldn’t have been involved.
The case is out of her hands now. It is between the Jupiter PD and Lewandowski, a "minor criminal" matter, not a complaint settled in civil court. Fields doesn't even have to appear, evidence can come in via police testimony.
Actually my late Wife bruised very easily. So much so that I never held her by her arms, only her hands. They would show up almost instantly due to a type of blood disease she had.
But I think Fields is full of bull crap and Cory never touched her.

Speaking of...are we sure that Lewandowski didn't also molest, rape and sodomize Fields in that encounter? The violence was pretty horrific.
I'd add that she really doesn't care if she wins or loses. This is "punishment by process." The accusation is enough to fuel the gin mill, and that was the point of making the accusation.
