'The bravest woman I know': Donald Trump shares emotional moment with dying Miss Wisconsin after she reveals the GOP front-runner wrote to her in hospital

Donald Trump shared an emotional moment with the 2005 Miss Wisconsin, who is dying from an incurable disease, at a rally on Tuesday.

Melissa Consin Young, who was crowned Miss Wisconsin 11 years ago, thanked Trump for being able to give her son a future after she succumbs to autonomic failure.

Autonomic failure is when the part of the brain that controls heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, respiration, digestion and most vital organs stops functioning...

Your hatred has no bounds. Must be nice to hate someone so much politically you have absolutely no compassion for a dying woman who is only concerned about her 7 yr old son. You are pure evil simply because of an election. Is that what Conservatism has become, because I want no part of it.

Pray America wakes

So sad. This woman, a beauty queen, could have been Ivana v5.0 if she had not gotten sick...

Do not be overly sad; she will be beautiful in heaven, clothed in righteousness.

Even while traveling, you took the time to send such a wonderful message of hope and support. I was going through some very dark times and this was unbelievable that not just anyone – but Donald Trump himself – took the time to think of my son and me. I have looked up to you my entire life. The scholarship fund is more than what it entails. This ultimately gave me the gift of peace. I will not be here to walk Jack through that stage of his life. As a mother, knowing that his education is taken care of, is the most special gift anyone could ever give me. And because of your organizations – Miss USA and FundAnything.com – you have given me the greatest gifts of all – peace of mind, heart and soul. I have been writing letters to Jack so that he can read them when I am in heaven, explaining how you, your organization and the snowballing effect of support from people all around the world have forever changed our world. With this, I have explained to Jack that a great responsibility has been instilled in him to pay it forward just as you have done for us. Yours is a gift that will keep on giving.

I am forever grateful,
Melissa Ann Young-Miranda

Is this going to be on Meg’s show today? Will it even be reported on Fox at all? Of course not, they have an agenda to promote and this does not fit it. Will it be on Rush, Beck, Levin or anywhere other than a British website?

This was the most amazing person of the entire election season with her heartfelt thank you and we will see a media blackout simply because it might help Trump.

Fox & Friends reported this incident this morning with positive, compassionate, accent as they were interviewing Doanld J. Trump!!! I watched the rally yesterday...and this dialogue was amazing, emotional, motivating & moving.

Trump is like millions of New Yorkers....tough and brash on the outside....but a heart of gold & compassion on the inside!!! In both class and charity...Trump blows away Ted Cruz, John Kascich, Hilllary Clinton & Bernie Sanders...all of them “haters” in one way or another. Go Donald J. Trump!!!

Citizen,

I agree with you. My family is voting for Cruz in the primary, but if Trump wins, I’m all in.

He seems like a bombastic, kind hearted New York guy. I haven’t spent too much time there, but I used to work for a New Jersey based company. You needed a certain level of thick skin to get anything done. I called it my New Jersey attitude. Trump has that.

He seems to enjoy his wealth, which many people don’t. He also seems to revel in the challenges and the art of the possible. DT seems to be the ultimate optimist. America needs a glass is 3/4 full kind of leader.

The main job of President is to be America’s cheerleader. The rest can be handled by a competent staff and cabinet.

That said, I also think Trump is somewhat immature and easily offended. Personally, I don’t get offended so I don’t know what it’s like. I’m a pretty shallow guy who just doesn’t care what someone thinks or says about me.

Let’s all hang on for the ride.

Your disgusting remark is unconscionable........and towards a dying woman.

How low will you Cruz people go?

Low.

#CultureOfCruz is to blame, deflect, flat out lie. cRuz supporters are good with that, so I expect to see comments like this, from some of them.

Thanks for the vid...and this thread.

When I watched this exchange, live, at the rally...it broke my heart. She can barely talk, because she can barely breathe...but, by the grace of God, she made it to this rally....to personally thank Trump for all he’s done for her, and her son.

May He watch over and hold her, and, bless and protect Trump.

I’m not clear about the “autonomic failure” part. Does she have a tumor or a degenerative disease?

Precision is our friend.

I choose not to participate in Donald Trump’s Potemkin Village.

Trump trots this woman out because he is being righteously hammered for being a jerk, and we are all supposed to shed a tear. It is cheap manipulation.

I am sure her case is very sympathetic.

And Ted trots out women via the back door of the Hotel 6, pushes them into a cab, and throws the driver a 20. I prefer Trump's alternative.

I can’t believe anybody could be so upset that I impugned the sterling reputation of that wonderful man, Donald Trump.

You really find that offensive? We are talking about Donald Trump, right?
