Donald Trump attacked Wisconsin governor Scott Walker for failing to raise taxes in order to properly fund schools and roads on Tuesday, in a startling new break from rightwing orthodoxy from the Republican frontrunner.
The comments came after Walker endorsed Trumps rival, Texas senator, Ted Cruz, in the GOP race.
Walker became a conservative hero for his efforts to crush public sector unions and cut government spending in the Democratic-leaning state in Wisconsin, something that led to an attempted recall of the Wisconsin governor in 2012 and became a national cause célèbre. But, in a radio interview with talkshow host Michael Koolidge on Tuesday, Trump bashed walker's administration.
Theres a $2.2bn deficit and the schools were going begging and everything was going begging because he didnt want to raise taxes cause he was going to run for president, said Trump. So instead of raising taxes, he cut back on schools, he cut back on highways, he cut back on a lot of things.

If you are comfortable with Trump adding an additional billion to his portfolio at the cost of selling our country down the drain, then he is a good choice for you and many others.
I don't like it.
Get Duckin’ Donald rattled and he says weird stuff.
Bwahahah, that’s rich! Who is stuffing their pockets with bribes and backing....wait for it....Ted?! Why yes, it is.
Selling America to the highest bidder via open border freaks who are ALL IN for Cruz - that is, until the convention..then he’ll be dropped like yesterday’s news and bam, here comes Ryan, or Romney, or ‘someone who isn’t even running’ quoting Walker here.
So stuff you worry about Trump and focus on WHO is selling out this nation.
Was Trump being interviewed by a woman reporter when spoke in favor of higher taxes?
Women reporters seem to frighten him. He typically runs from them.
Every so often, Trump lets out his inner democrat.. that was one of those times.
Well put.....
A One year Freeper of accused me of that a few weeks ago, after being myself being here 16 years and 11K posts.
Quite a delusional lot, I tell ya.
I agree.
T-rump fears strong, assertive women more than he fears a hatless moment in a hurricane.
He has Bill Clinton's skill set for lying. He is a WAY better liar than Hillary.
Honestly, how the hell does this man keep his mob hypnotized for so long? Is it the illusion of being in the majority?
Hey. Politics is politics.
Walker started it anyway back in June. Don’t start ‘nuthin’, won’t be nuthin’!
I have the most loyal people, did you ever see that? I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot people and I wouldnt lose voters,
Don Trump
Though evidently a more reliable authority than Trump...
Yeah, like when he said in last night’s Townhall that healthcare and education were two of the federal government’s top roles. He then added housing.
Exactly. Quite a grip on the Constitutional role of the federal government, there. Such astounding brilliance.
Exactly. Quite a grip on the Constitutional role of the federal government, there. Such astounding brilliance.
His supporters don’t mind if government were to expand on his watch as long as it’s Trump’s big government
And one second later, 70% of Free Republic changed their entire worldview and accepted that Healthcare & Education are two of the three most important roles of the Federal Government.
Because Trump.
And it's good that Trump criticized Scott Walker for not raising taxes and for cutting the state budget.
Because Trump.
And Praising Planned Parenthood is a great thing.
Because Trump.
Hell, Obama voters were skeptics compared to Trump supporters. I though they deified Barack, but compared to Trump supporters, they were reasonable. Trump can literally do no wrong, LITERALLY. Even when he promises to be Liberal, in their minds it's all just an act, based on nothing - just faith.
“Walker is a stooge of the GOPe.”
Does GOPe mean “Never contributed to liberal Democrats”?
Hell, Obama voters were skeptics compared to Trump supporters.
