OPERATIVE: Yeah, two and the anchor. The anchor here is the absurdity. You know, the Enquirer story. Five women, shoving ‘em in closets and on desks or whatever right in the middle of meetings. That’s kind of, that’s, I just don’t see how you hide or how people miss that kind of stuff. That’s Bill Clinton stuff, you know. Sex crazed. And Glenn Beck does this whole I got raped by Ted Cruz bit this morning and everybody on my staff got raped, tasteless stuff.

OPERATIVE: yeah, I know, and that’s the anchor. And Beck doubled down on the anchor, said something about five women in closets and all that like I said, right? And then he sets the anchor really strong with a headline and it worked cause it was the headline you even went with. He said If this is true I’ll drop Ted Cruz like a hot potato.
GP: Yeah. Uh huh.
OPERATIVE: So there’s the hook, the headline, and then he sets expectations. He lowers the bar sort of so to speak. He says something like “Look, if it turns out Cruz had an affair six years ago and came clean and made up with his wife or whatever, then who am I to judge. People make mistakes.”
GP: Yeah. So how does that work then? What’s, how does that go with the anchor?
OPERATIVE: I think Glenn Beck just told the world the real story. There was an affair six years ago. One affair. It’s over now. And the Enquirer story is so over the top that a single affair six years ago will look like, yeah, whatever. It’s a perfect anchor, hook, and low ball. Perfect. It’s what Jeff Roe, his campaign manager, does.

Right, that is the kind of answer I expected. There is no way you rage on one candidate for an alleged affair (though based on everything I have read I am betting there is somethi g to the story) and not rage on another one who has already admitted to doing the same thing.

Difference being that Trump wasn’t pretending to be saintly, whereas, Ted was. Hypocrisy leaves people cold.

Bingo. I’ve been arguing for some time that Ted is a sociopath. Has all the hallmarks of one.
Except the $500K went to the Fiorina campaign, with an immediate $185K lump sum payment to Sarah Isgur Flores.
It is said (unsubstantiated rumor alert) that Amanda Carpenter has title to some real estate purchased by Rafael, but the $500K wasn't for her.

According to this theory, Glenn Beck is in the know and is part of the anchor. I’m sorry, I ain’t buying that. Even Ted Cruz is not dumb enough to confide in Beck with something like tthat.
I do. Have you ever dealt with the legal immigration system? I have and Trump has for his wives. Nothing is fast or cheap. I suspect most will not bother or be able to provide the documents needed. As to the wall, I have no doubt he will do it. The trump brand is on the line if he gets in. That is more important to him than promises made by your average professional politician lawyer. The point is, I believe there is no way that Cruz’s masters will let him do anything to shut down the cheap labor express. I think that Trump probably will.

There are such things as serial cheaters. I Had one until I got smart and dumped him. He just couldn’t help himself. If the opportunity arose he took it. He always had someone waiting in the wings if a relationship went bad. He would never be without a woman.
The consequences didn’t matter. It was just his mindset.

I am not wrapped up in the emotional investment that so many people seem to have put in Trump. It’s similar to the ‘savior’ mentality that the idiot left had for The Won.
His whole life is one big lie...Heidi wasn't found on the side of the road because she had to move to Texas from D.C.,she was found there because she found out her husband was cheating...Barbara Bush went thru the same depression when she found out GHWB was banging his secty. She ended up coming back to the U.S.
Women that love their husbands and trust them, when they find out they are unfaithful, knocks the stuffings out of them, I don't care how ‘strong’ you are, the bond of trust is broken and you can't ever get it back to where it was, you can work on it, but it's never the same...every time a word comes out or you hear something, everything comes back...

At least Trump said openly about him stepping around on Marla and it was plastered all over the papers and every rag on the East Coast, but he admitted it, he didn't sue and he took it like a Man...he didn't have ‘some other’ woman come out and answer reporters questions like Carly did tonight for Cruz...
Grow some balls Cruz and Man up, either admit your sins or quit the race, because right now your nothing but a William Jefferson Clinton!!!

When I saw his face I put it on pause and walked the dogs. Then fast forwarded to the Gingrich interview which was interesting.
It’s entirely possible Heidi didn’t know anything about this, contrary to what Beck is running his mouth on.
