Altuna, of course you are entitled to your opinion. However, this is a Rush thread but, by your own admission, you don't listen to Rush. You come on here like clockwork, not to discuss Rush's show, but to spew your anti-Trump venom. There are many threads on FR where you can do that and find many like-minded FReepers.

Ted is a liar. He lied about Trump and the KKK, Trump’s position on healthcare. Trump’s position on healthcare and Trump’s position on trade. The list could go on.
Even Hannity heard the sex story about Cruz months ago and said forsure it had nothing to do with Trump.
So the Ted story is not Trump but the attack on Trump through his wife by a Ted PAC did have an agent of Ted buying the photo rights and somehow that illegally got over to the PAC for its use.
To me Ted has looked dirty since saying Carson was out of the race and to vote for Cruz.
Cruz has no chance at this race at this point, is he playing Kasich #2?

I could only listen a minute here and there but I’ll agree: Win The Future? The huge story that BROKE TWITTER all weekend is Cruz’s affairs and potential financial shenanigans relating to them. I tried to see if it ever came up. He completely ignored it for a long time, chattering about his greatness, which I used to think was clever self-deprecating humor but now find selfish and annoying.
I heard part of the caller saying Rush was for Trump, and Rush’s chortling clever response-and-commercial break. Riiiight. I used to believe all this stuff, even knowing Rush quoted me as his own words three times (at least). It’s different now. This was all planned.
And Kasich... Rush was trying to be subtle but it was all I need to hear. He’s on the Anybody But Trump bandwagon. He must have decided that Cruz is done, and is trying to be stealthy by quoting obscure articles over the weekend positive for Kasich. He lives off the mainstream media only, and just picks what he wants to pick out of his stack o stuff.
I never begrudged Rush his millions. I was super happy for him and prayed for his safety. But he is no patriot. He cares about as much for the country and his conservative listeners as Ted Cruz does. They are all about themselves, nothing more or less. The Rush I thought he was would not have carried water for the oligarchy.

I agree. Rush is blinded by his self-importance. He doesn’t really want to see problems solved, because then people would have less reason to listen to him. He likes it when conservatives are being battered and beaten. Then conservatives flock to his show for solace. And he provides them with the consolation prize of bashing the Left and pointing out their hypocrisy.
That’s the role he’s staked out for himself. He’s very comfortable with it, and is just running on automatic pilot now, like an actor who has learned how to play one part, so he only chooses scripts that play to the role he’s perfected.
The only problem is, we all know about the Left’s deceitfulness and are ready to do something about it, but find that the hidden enemy of the GOPe is fighting us. Rush doesn’t wanted to join that fight because he’s invested in the status quo and is now one of them.
Be nice to see her gone, when Cruz goes down the tubes : )
