Which will be seen as an even more illegitimate manipulation of the process by the ruling elite.

The people are in no mood to be dictated to by their ‘betters’, and will show their displeasure by abandoning the party if they attempt to shove another milquetoast RINO down our throats at the convention.

I concur.

If Trump doesn’t have a clear lead (as in a few votes short of the magic number, which I don’t know), I do think Cruz will be the smarter-choice compromise candidate, in that he is both an outsider and very conservative.

But the RNC has never failed to disappoint me, so I am betting on Ryan or Romney or a cup of soggy Cheerios to be nominated.
