Appears! Hell the man has not explained either why 500 grand was given to Fiorina’s PAC when she had one of these women working for her last year.

The idiots must have watched an entirely different video than Cruz denial.

““I want to be crystal clear: these attacks are garbage. For Donald J. Trump to enlist his friends at the National Enquirer and his political henchmen to do his bidding shows you that there is no low Donald won’t go. These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack. Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behavior is beneath the office we are seeking and we are not going to follow.”

I want to see the video of young Cruz hoping to rule the world and claiming to be a superstud.

A sleazy lawyer. No surprise. I think lawyers are natural liars. Half the time they have to defend known criminals and make them look innocent. How is that done? Lying.

Lawyers deny and deflect.

That is their sole defense.

I thought his “denial” was curious too. Seemed more interested in hurting Trump then showing his faithfulness to his wife.

His first statement also contains a blatant lie: Roger Stone has not been a campaign adviser since August of last year.

How can you trust anything Cruz says after that? He lies deliberately.

This type of lopsided attack-to-denial ratio is very consistent with what we have historically seen with deceptive people when allegations are levied against them.

Actually, this pretty well characterizes everything Cruz says. Virtually every interview with him follows this pattern.

Q: Didn't your wife Heidi belong to the Council of Foreign Relations and work hard for the North American Union? And more recently, didn't she borrow millions from Morgan Stanley to fund your campaign?

A: That Trump is a sleazy liar, constantly insulting my wife! I think I'll use a nude photo of Trump's wife in one of my ads!

Cruz would almost certainly have been much more strongly focused on the denial.

It wasn't a denial, it was a dismissal followed by a deflective accusation.

I can't speak for everyone else, but if I were accused of such a thing, my first reaction would be - 'Are you crazy? I've never cheated on my husband!'

From the above article:

“...we were struck by the volume of deceptive behavior that we identified in these statements.

Behaviorally, when the facts are the ally of an individual, he or she almost always tends to focus on the facts of the matter at hand.

In this case, if the key fact was that he had not had these affairs, Cruz would almost certainly have been much more strongly focused on the denial.

That is, he very likely would have made a point of explicitly stating something along the lines of, “I did not have these affairs.”

He never categorically denies having the affairs, does he?

Why is it that the object of Enquirer’s salacious baby daddy/affairs/hooker political stories always start with the garbage and smears defense, followed by the “not worth a response” response followed by the I made a mistake with his wife beside him response. I prefer the 2 times convicted former jailrat governor of Louisiana, Edwin Edwards response “So what. They will vote for me so long as I am not caught in bed with a dead woman or a live boy”

The main sentence to examine is the rat copulation one. It could be the strangest sentence ever spoken in a campaign ever in US History.

The first part, ok, calling your opponent a rat. Blah, been done.

But the second part. EVEN THOUGH Trump is a rat, still Cruz doesn’t desire to copulate with him. In my son’s grammar lesson it would ask,

Does Cruz desire to copulate rats? Can you tell this from this sentence?

And the answer to both would be yes.

Whether or not Cruz has had furtive sex with these five women, it is clear by his own admission that he DESIRES rats.

One of the biggest problems here that needs far more research is that we can’t tell whether Cruz desires male rats, because Trump has admitted on national tv to being fully male, or female, because the humans Cruz has been linked to are all female.

Another question worth debating is if America is ready for any President of any gender who is a practitioner of bestiality. And, if so, are we ready for the gross discrepancy between the size of a human and a smaller, helpless rodent who would be under his control. While it is legal to kill rats, it is not legal to torture them. Even after buying them expensive cheese.

If I were Cruz I would deny it. I would deny because I would gamble that the allegations have no real proof backing them up. Without it, I win. If the proof emerges, well then, I know I gave it my best shot.

I lean toward some truth in the rumors. I really don’t care one way or the other because I do not support or like Cruz. He has always come off as an overly dramatic and manipulative con man to me.

He was a textbook Jimmy Swaggart moment guy. Has himself up there on a pedestal until the floor under the pedestal crashes down. I always figured it would happen sooner or later. No thenks, we have been there too many times.

It’s categorically not true that he had 5 affairs.... apparently he may have had at least 8.

The proof of at least one needs to come out before the next primary. Matching tattoos falls short of the required proof.

He implied it by saying the allegations are false, and that they’re lies, but behaviorally, such statements are not equivalent to saying he never had the affairs.

Exactumndo. I’m getting BJ Clinton flashbacks here: “It depends on what the meaning of ‘is’ is.” What a piece of work Rafael Cruz is.

After spending dozens of hours as a deponent by the largest law firm in the world, I can say that Sen. Cruz’s response is all misdirection and evasion.

Let’s look at the denials:

Cruz: “These attacks are garbage” ...what constitutes garbage?

Cruz: “These smears are completely false” ...what smears is the Senator making reference?

Cruz: “Let me be clear, this National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies. It is a tabloid smear, and it is a smear that has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen” ...does “complete and utter lies” refer to the opening paragraph: “Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is the target of a ‘dirty tricks’ campaign!

Wouldn’t a simple flat denial of ANY marital infidelity in 15 years of marriage simply sufficed?
