Trump has said the things that Ted accuses him of saying…but Trump just changed his mind for this election cycle, so no, they are not lies.
If you want to get the truth from a lawyer politician, you must put them under oath, on a polygraph and make sure they see you load the shotgun.
People will accuse me of being a Trump fan, but honestly I’m not keen on any of our choices. Having said that, I have always disliked and distrusted Cruz. He has an insincere and smug expression on his face, he never misses a chance to turn a statement around to be about him or against his opponents, he tosses in random Scripture verses for effect when they have no relevance to what he is talking about, and just everything about him screams weasel.
I am so sick and tired of all these career politicians and the army of sycophants, consultants, managers, think-tank denizens, media helpers, spokesmen, etc. who surround them. Politics is a dirty industry that is based on living off of the productive. Our real problem is that government has too much power and it attracts the sleaziest elements of society who see a way to get rich from the system. As long as US voters keep voting the way they do, we will have this corrupt group of rats running our country and our lives.
I wish I had the money for my own private island.

I’m solidly for Trump but will vote for Cruz in the general if he’s nominated only because Hillary would be a disaster.
Cruz is cherry picking and twisting the truth if not outright lying and it’s not just his words, it’s also his cocksure presentation, most disappointing.
I think Cruz needs to pull out and run third party, that way Trump would have to debate him. See if Trump wins without Cruz’s support.

The whole thing is worth watching but there’s some real meat on Cruz beginning around the 8 minute mark!
While I will vote for him if he is the guy, my fear is that Cruz IS JUST ANOTHER JUDAS GOAT!
PS: As it is, after all, Easter Sunday, I hesitated to send this today. But as many of you may be home for the day and have time to see it, I did so. My rationale is that this election is without doubt THE most important in our lifetimes. If we mess up this one, you can say farewell to these purely religious celebrations but the idea of America. And just because I keep saying that doesn’t make it any less true.
Ted Cruz says in that video near the end that ‘Trump will keep our agreement with the Iranians.” WTF? It was TED that voted FOR THE CORKER AMENDMENT TO GIVE IRAN THAT AGREEMENT AND THE $150 billion in cash!!
