The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has asked a Ted Cruz super PAC to explain why it gave $500,000 to another super PAC supporting one of his Republican rivals.
According to financial disclosures from June, Keep the Promise I - one of four separate committees backing Cruz - gave half a million dollars to CARLY for America, the political action committee supporting Carly Fiorina.
Super PACs are legally allowed to give money to other super PACs - they are only prohibited from donating directly to any political campaign. But it's unusual for one of these groups to give money to an opponent, especially when the candidate it supports is still in the race.

The blogger at your link is a bigot.
ImPAC-TED
Oh, Hardy-har-har.
..And you wonder why Trumpers don't get respect.
So she charges $500,000.00 for another candidate to consider her for VP? That sounds a little absurd. If anything, the money would have been flowing the other way.
KU lost!!!! IF this bribe is legal why is Cruz refusing to answer FEC questions?
A Cruz spokesperson tried to say that some of Cruz’ supporters were “impressed with Carly” so that’s why they gave her $500,000. That doesn’t even make sense, that would be like the Bush Super PAC giving Trump $500,000.
“When the MSM picks up the story its not a good sign.”
If this is really true, I guess that the sign that I’ve seen at the Cruz rallies, which says....trusTED, should maybe be changed to busTED!. Just saying.
I was not aware the FEC investigated morals. As I said, I’m fully for Trump but this is FEC playing games. They didn’t care about Obama brazenly getting money from all over the middle east. Didn’t even look into it. They didn’t look into Clinton and Gore getting money from the Chinese.
Nobody is looking into the Clinton foundation for the bribery machine it clearly was.
But they sure go after this, don’t they?
This was already discussed yesterday. Try to keep up.
Cruz wants Fiorina as his Veep nominee, for the reasons already discussed.
Trump fans are so out of it they believed this was a “secret” transfer, even though it was in the major news outlets SIX MONTHS AGO. Hilarious!
This is not news to people who are paying attention.
Even asking this question shows that you’re not a real conservative and that you have no principles.

I supported Cruz when he first announced. My understanding of him quickly changed the more I studied him. Now I wish I could get my donation back. By the way, I am not one of the stupid common folk that Cruz has insultingly labeled as typical of Trump supporters.
Cruz is a narcissist who will do anything to get elected. He along with the GOPe, have created turmoil and division with the ranks of the Republican party. I can only appeal to you Cruz supporters to look closely at the facts and not be blinded as many of our Democratic friends are.
This old link still goes a long way in typifying who Cruz is:

The candidates do not have PAC’s.
“Big difference between “legal” and “moral”.”
And what is immoral about it that you know for a fact?
After a comment about Fiorina needing lifelong plastic surgery you said;
“Oh, Hardy-har-har.
..And you wonder why Trumpers don’t get respect. “
I guess you never noticed anyone talking about his hair from the first day he entered the race, did you? That’s why you Cruzers don’t get respect either.
Hello. The MSM is not “picking this up”. It’s an old story from last October. We all knew about it. Read the date on the story.
Cruz pays half a million bucks hush money. Hilarious! Trump’s fault, right?
The “Cuban Mistress Crisis” LOL
Doubtful.
So in other words it's none of the FECs f**king business. Since it's a super PAC it's none of Ted Cruz's business either. I don't think he can answer any questions about the donation because PACs are separate from the campaign.
