Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.
Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.
“I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it,” Trump said in a statement. “Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.”

Well, I’ve seen Trump, I’ve heard it from his own mouth. I’ve seen Hillary and heard it from her own mouth.
My own self-importance? We are where we are in this country because people are selfish. They want everything for themselves. And they keep voting in people like Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Given the source of these charges, if I were Ted Cruz, I would completely ignore them.

Then put my name down right now. I will not vote for any GOP nominee who is to the left of Mitt Romney. I will not vote for any GOP nominee who is to the left of Bernie Sanders when it comes to eminent domain. I will not vote for any GOP nominee who will expedite the return of deported illegals back into this country. And I will not vote for any GOP nominee who is a Democrat. So if Trump is the nominee, I will not be voting for the GOP candidate. Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that up front.
