Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.
Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.
“I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it,” Trump said in a statement. “Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.”

you’re muddying the water. no one is arguing that the NE published the story. I’m simply telling you that your statement that the story caused him to drop out of the race is incorrect — by 5 years.
I think it was in one of the comments at Conservative Treehouse but I’m not sure. It did have images of the voter records, etc. and how an American citizen could become a Canadian citizen in one year, I believe if husband was Canadian citizen.

I regard Trump as a deeply flawed man in many ways, greatly gifted in some, probably not a recipient (yet) of grace, but doing his best to the limits of his understanding. I support Trump, but that is far short of “worship” as you deceitfully and maliciously claim. I am not a cultist who will claim that I see the face of God when I look at Trump, unlike many of Angel Raphael’s acolytes.
Cruz on the other hand, like Herod, pretends to hold some grasp on the divine which he manifestly does not. He knows better too. He will answer for those boasts, as surely as Herod did.
Trump is worldly, no doubt. Cruz increasingly savors of the diabolical.
Sadly, what I have come to realize is that The Conservative Movement is eating its own. The in-fighting is making the dims drool and hoping that it continues.

Cruz claims to be a Southern Baptist. He is really a charismatic Catholic. Wouldn't do to say that. So he hides behind the Sothern Baptists.
