Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.
Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.
“I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it,” Trump said in a statement. “Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.”

Well Ted is going to have to ride this horse alone. Trump has nothing to do with whether Cruz has or has not been playing around.
Personally I doubt if Trump is involved in it because he usually stabs you in the chest not the back. But I’ll bet he knows whats about to come down the pike next week.

Like I wrote, I emailed GQ and CondeNast about the pic in question. It was a simple email. Lets see if they answer. I emailed yesterday so I don’t expect a reply until later next week, if at all. Perhaps they won’t give the name, which I understand. In anywhich case...If I get a response, I will post here on FR as it is of the highest importance.

I don’t think that you understand how Free Republic works. An article is posted, and individuals have a right to debate its validity. If you don’t feel comfortable with that, maybe you aren’t in the right place.

Donald Trump has never pretended or even tried to pass himself off as a holier-than-thou. He’s told us he was not a saint. What we see and what we hear from him is what he is. He’s not lied to us about his holiness.
Its another freaking twitter post and if you read the comments I ask for a more reliable source than twitter. Look I support Trump and I would like the information to be true...but if is not true, then it is not true. If it is true, then it is...Just want the truth.
On CTH after my constant probing at posters there...that line of information is being dropped because no one can verify it beyond twitter. It has come from a couple of twitter accounts that have been considered unreliable in the past (so is the word there)..
