The April 4 edition of The National Enquirer makes damaging claims about Ted Cruz in a bold, above-the-fold headline. But dont be so quick to write it off as another silly claim by a silly tabloid. A political columnist for The Washington Times just backed up the story that Cruz had multiple extramarital affairs.
Yes, the very religious Republican presidential candidate had so many affairs and one-night stands that its over for Pervy Ted, the supermarket tabloid claims.
Cruzs 5 Secret Mistresses! Their Shocking Claims!
Conservative Family Man Evangelical HYPOCRITE!
Claiming unidentified investigators and political operatives as sources, the rag claims Cruz had five extramarital affairs, which include women who worked for his campaign and even a high-priced prostitute.
Randy Ted supposedly had a romp with her in a closet at a Republican state convention.
Its alleged that Ted hooked up with her at the Republican Capitol Hill Club in a private room.
The two were caught getting cozy on the campaign trail.
A very sexy Austin schoolteacher who may have had a fling with Ted after he was appointed Texas Solicitor General.
Ted supposedly had it on with a prostitute.
The Washington Times Drew Johnson says the Enquirer is at least partially correct. He tweeted on March 25 that he personally knows of two of those five affairs.
Even without Johnsons defense of the story, remember that it was this same National Enquirer that had the scoop on John Edwards affair . And that same story crumbled the political campaign of the Democratic presidential wannabe in 2008.
That doesnt mean that this bombshell about Casanova Cruz has guaranteed accuracy, of course. But if the tabloid batted one-thousand on Edwards, then a simple two-out-of-five .400 RBI would carry just as much impact.
Will these new rumors affect Cruzs campaign? A secret source of National Enquirer sure thinks so:
Cruzs image as a Christian Family Man is utterly destroyed.
The U.S. Senator from Texas currently has 465 delegates in the race to gain Republican Party nomination in the 2016 presidential race. Donald Trump has 739. A minimum of 1,237 delegates are needed to gain the nomination before the national convention, and 944 delegates are still open in upcoming primary elections.
Trump did better in Az than most polls had it and a couple of other states. Cruz loses most states, that is a fact. I think it is hilarious that the same people who have no problem believing that Lyin’ Ted had nothing to do with the Utah ad that ended with a “Vote for Cruz” message are calling Trump a liar over this. Trump said he had nothing to do with this. Hypocrisy is funny to see.
I can just imagine Her Heinousness cackling for hours over this whole thing.
If true, this just proves that the Republicans are going to hand the election to "the witch".
Trump and Cruz standing toe to toe flinging crap at each other instead of arguing policy or taking on shrillary.
Take a nap.
Fixed my comment.
Ted Cruz yesterday: “I have nothing to do with the Melania ad!”
Today: “Trump has everything to do with this!”
These politicians are amazing
Right!
So when they’re looking up and seeing Trump approach for another campaign event.
Wait for it...
LITTLE MARCO
(excited)
Boss! Da Plane! Da Plane!
And you could get away with it if you are not running for President or Senate Majority Leader
Oh, yeah? I paid $1000 for a 16yr old Escort. Whod have thought shed need freshening up at her age?
I paid about $500 for a 16 year old Escort, she had some body damage but I drove her back and forth to work for about 10 years and she never gave me any problems. My wife finally talked me into getting rid of her, she said my Escort made our drive waay look red neck and trashy.
Decent? No one in the D.C. swamp is decent. Come on, they aren’t allowed in the door unless they are already compromised or can be blackmailed in some way over the skeletons in their CIA files. Sheesh. This is how the game is played. The D.C. kingmakers have a file ready to go on everyone ready to play. Play by their rules, get out or get outed. Simple.
Ted has been fishwrappered. Blaming Trump was all he could do along with a categorical denial? Ted’s denial must convince his followers or he is done. He can’t pull a Clinton and expect it to work for him, while professing his Christianity.
GOPe wants Trump in political cemetary and want Cruz in the political hospital. CREATE THE PROBLEM SO THEY CAN GIVE US THE SOLUTION. Kasich. This why Kung Fu Konfetti Kasich is still with us. The son of a mailman who can cross the aisle, give an olive branch to the Demoncrats and keep the Congressional check book in the hands of the squishy moderate publicans.
Alinsky rule RULE 4: Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this
because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entitys very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its
commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)
I think the need to move congress out of Washington DC is paramount. Maybe Tennessee. It is unnatural for the families to live in the state the congress people are from while the congressman live in DC mostly due to expense. DC is anti family values. When they see their families once a month at most that can lead to disaster.
The problem is a reporter for The Washington Times says he knows 2 of the woman are correct

hey bushwon, little Rubio started this, “TheThing”
The @MarcoRubio camp & @BreitbartNews knew about #CruzSexScandal & referred to it as #TheThing. Read hashtag trail: https://twitter.com/search?q=%23TheThing%20since%3A2016-03-01%20until%3A2016-03-14&src=typd&lang=en
I agree. These guys don’t realize that if they go into the convention witching it being a lock, someone else comes out.
If Hillary gets pinched, the same thing will happen on the other side.
I would still bet that the President after 1/20/17 is still someone not in the race.
“Cruz is blaming Trump out of desperation. This is hurting both of them though”
I don’t think it is desperation. I would say it is logical assumption. Possibly a wrong assumption. Let’s face it, trump does tend to play dirty occasionally. It would not be completely outside the realm of the dirty politics we’ve watched over the past months.
Dan Rather rides again?
I’m sure you have a number of them.
