My headline may seem like click-bait, but I can assure you it delivers what it promises. Before we get to that, let’s clear something up. Kelly Rowland is one of the women from Destiny’s Child who isn’t Beyoncé. Maybe you knew, but I had to look it up. I listen to good music. In any case, Ms. Rowland is such a sickening Michelle Obama fangirl that she actually wants FLOTUS to sneeze on her because apparently she is like God.
Rowland, along with some other untalented black performers, helped Michelle Obama make a song called “This Is For My Girls.” This is part of the First Lady’s BS initiative “Let Girls Learn” in which Obama thinks throwing out some hashtags is going to make oppressive Muslim societies suddenly respect women. The song is equally as stupid for the simple reason that an R&B song from the US is unlikely to change the way radical Islam views females.
Billboard caught up with Kelly Rowland and asked her about this pointless song and and the pointless First Lady of the United States:
“I am a huge, huge Michelle Obama supporter. If she sneezes on something, I want to be right there for it ‘cause I feel like she’s just a woman of purpose, intelligence, who stands by her word, and she’s just amazing. She’s right up there with God,” said Rowland.
