HOWEVER, why, at the first sign of resistance (the finger snaps) didn't Ted decide that his daughter's wishes at that moment were more important than ANOTHER darn FORCED photo op ???????????
I have a grandniece that doesn't like to be kissed. None of us try to force her.
How many other times has Ted been willing to fake these emotional scenes, in order to get elected ?

I’m just curious why Ted is wetting the bed over this when his wife has clearly explained “why WE’RE running” and has no problem stumping for Ted to help out with his full-time job of traveling the country and talking to small audiences about Donald Trump.

Don’t know anything about Cruz and his daughter, but in general I think politics has way too many narcissists who put their careers ahead of their families, and often their country. I’m not saying this about Cruz, who I have liked, but am making a general comment. Plus anyone who has been a parent knows that when children aren’t in the mood to be hugged or kissed, you shouldn’t try.

Not making fun of anyone. Just stating my opinion since all is fair with the spouses now. I have taken care of mentally disabled foster children and have seen that look. I don’t think it’s funny. I don’t know how she would handle the stress of being a first lady. Also, she stated “we are running”. Don’t think I want somebody who isn’t thinking straight influencing the president.

There aren’t any who are running. Trump is the closest we have to both. Cruz certainly isn’t either - and I thought that last year.
Trump is a bully and a coward, IMO, but Cruz should avoid lowering himself to Trump’s level.

He’s getting (and accepting) Karl Rove-type tactics that will backfire.
The only thing Karl Rove could give good advice on, is how to properly-stack your multiple plates at the buffet for maximum intake.
