What is the percentage these folks are up against? Federal conviction rates are over 90 percent IIRC. This will generate one thing at least when confronting federal alphabet agencies. No one should engage federal authorities without being masked and concealing vehicle ownership. If one values ones freedom to push back against a government out of control. All the data points are on the side of those who have one goal in mind to limit freedom and liberty, and they have the power granted to them to do it with impunity.

While Cruz did say about turning fed land over to the states, the later he supports, in regards to that Oregon stand-off, Cruz did say to the folks involved, if I am not mistaken to “stand down” and end it.
And why was that the wrong thing to say? As for federal land all it would take is an act of Congress to sell that land to the states or private individuals. Why isn't anyone pushing Congress to do that?
I do think that Trump will have no choice if he gets into office so as to cut down of the debt, to sell back those lands to the states.
"Back to the states" implies it was their's originally, which isn't true. But I'm not sure that the states would want to buy. Right now they get a cut of the revenue realized from gas, oil, and mineral rights without putting any money up. Sounds like an winning situation for them as it is.
